I love Sabine, so if this is true I may be seriously checking out of AMC. Especially if the rumors of Alicia departing as Kendall. I hate the way the writers are going about things. This show isn't worth it. And I hope that Sabine gets picked up somewhere where her talents will be of use.

If this is true, and it has been posted all over the AMC board the past couple of days, it's just another example of how Frons treats his actors. Remember Dixie? Brooke?

Look at how most of the vets have been treated by being back-burnered. How many newer characters were brought on, storylines developed, and then abruptly dropped?

I don't watch General Hospital, but similar things have happened on OLTL.

This man is out of control...

moore, GH is just as bad. I mean he killed off Alan. I mean granted Stuart Damon is still hanging around as Tracy's guilty conscience but still. And they just dropped the actress who plays Bobbie to recurring. The two of them are my favorites. Seriously makes me consider jumping ship completely and heading over to CBS.

Let's not forget the killing of Georgie which the actress and several others on the show were opposed to. I mean I understand it from a storyline perspective but still, it's bad business. Don't worry, Frons' ratings are in the toilet and eventually someone above him is gonna realize that the problem was writers. It's just gonna take awhile.

I am ABSOLUTELY FUMED...HOW LONG was Rebecca wanted back, and kept turning it down..and NOW that i feel the viewers are starting to enjoy Sabine as Greenlee (at least i have)....here comes lil miss Rebecca wanting back in....NOT FAIR TO SABINE!!!!

kudos to sabine for behaving w/such dignity. i think RB has a hell of a lot of nerve for pulling this......and we all know what goes around comes around. she had ample opportunity to a. either not leave in the first place or b. resume the role......ample opportunity.

i've never been a greenlee fan but sabine did a great job w/the pile of drek they wrote for her. i hope she winds up on another soap or better yet prime time & becomes a huge star.

for the first time ever i'm tempted to stop watching, but admit i probably won't.

I thought the Greg Madden saga was bad, I've read the spoilers and reviews for the current plots, absolutely retarded. And they're just recycling the Madden gimmick. Now Adam knows where Kate is and is going to use it against Tad just like Madden did with Dixie. Sorry... this show died along time ago, they're just beating the body to make it look like its alive.

I think I saw Rebecca Buddig on CSI last night, very small part, and I wasn't really watching closely as we were yapping, but if that's the best work she could get away from soaps, no wonder she wanted her old job back.

Kae I think that was a 3 part thing. She was in a story with Warrick but got killed off. The producers of the show though must not have liked her or they could have kept her on as a love interest. She is just really SOL right now because of the strike there is no pilot season.

oh and Rebecca Budig's myspace page says she will air January 16th.

/what really upsets me is that Sabine had great chemistry with Aidan and I liked seeing him get more air time and in a nice relationship, but I just don't see him and Rebecca having anything at all. She seemed to look down her nose at him, if I recall any scenes they had.

I'm not mad at Rebecca, just tptb who are allowing this!

Well Tina it looks like Rebecca will need chemistry with Thorsten Kaye going forward. That's what they seem to be doing.

Oh really, so Kendall is leaving then? Hmmmmm, not sure If I would like Rebecca with Thorston, Perhaps he should go back to One Life as Patrick when Marty comes back.

But they are married in real life, so sometimes that doesn't work well.

I read somewhere that part of the reason RB wanted to come back was to work with Thorsten. I hope he leaves with Kendall.

I could be wrong but I think bringing Budig back was the olive branch that Frons was trying to send our way for losing the best couple they have. Also I think the execs made Budig an offer she couldn't refuse. From the sound of things they've given her the sun moon and stars.

whats annoying is that under Rebecca's Greenlee I hated the character, she was too much of a bitch. But under Sabine's even given the horrible things she did with Spike I still couldnt help but like her. I will miss Sabine

I don't bother watching any longer, I used to love AMC, but I can't stand it these days. I tuned out after Kendall had the baby, and the whole Spike is deaf thing.

I stopped watching OLTL out of boredom, and can't say that I miss it. I gave up on GH over a year ago. I was a Sam and Jason fan, and the whole Elizabeth storyline turned me completely off.

Budig praises Singh's work, but hints that the Greenlee of old will be back once she steps back into the role.

"I think [Sabine] brought in a different perspective on the character," Budig stated. "Obviously, I played this character for six years and I have a different take on Greenlee. But I think she did a great job!"

everybody that I read about seems to think that its the actress who controls what the character does. Nothing will change if the writing doesn't.
