Happy its over

Hey guys, my little one woke up on the early side this morning so I thought I would pop in and say hello. And I have to say that I am oh so happy that the holidays are over. It was a great day, and our kids had a great day even though we had them walking all over Williamsburg and fed them tavern food for their Christmas Dinner. Its a good thing that they don't know what a traditional dinner consists of.

Anyways, I hope that you all had a great day. I am off to find a way to entertain two little ones when its raining outside.

Our nice day ended with Gabi having that virus Zach had. Vomit everywhere. 12 loads of laundry today!

Wish I had one of the large capacity machines

Otherwise dinner went really well!

My "perfect" sister in law messed up dessert, good thing we had bought a pie!

Oh yes, very glad it's over. Mike stayed until midnight, so it was after that the kitchen got tackled, so I'm beat today. Tons of leftovers. Have to take mom to her audiologist at 2, then back home to collapse. Glad it's over. Whew.

Well I'm pooped! I'm a little sad and glad at the same time. I can't believe my kids were actually asleep by 11 lol that night lol. Our truck broke down on Christmas Eve (don't know if I mentioned it yet). Thank God my step-dad is an amazing guy we used his car for 2 days until today when they went over to the truck gave it a charge and miraculously it started. I told Floyd we were due at least one Christmas Miracle lol.

I've already taken down the tree. I had some energy from all the chocolate Beth force fed me so I thought ehh what they hey we're just going to get it out of the way. I took a cue from it was either Kae or Moore's friend. I just took the ornaments off of the tree (that's the fun part for the kids) and just hauled the tree to the basement with lights and ribbon on it still. I've been playing board games and all sorts of fun stuff with the kids today as well as a "baby sitting session" for Bethany in her new house lol.

I must say that even with the drama of the truck this has been the best Christmas I think I've ever had. The kids had a great time the hubby had a great time and the lil ones were out as soon as their heads hit the pillows.

Oh and added drama this probably wasn't my grandma's best Christmas. She spent the day in the ER with my aunt Ann. Gram's had a bad bug for almost a week and she got pretty badly dehydrated. Spent the day in the ER and Lexi ended up at my mom's along with the boy from across the street, but no one really knows why he was there, when he got there, or what the deal was.
