Sharon and Noah are stuck at Nick's in a snow storm, Phyllis stuck at GCAC, and Ashley made it to her old house to visit with Jack. Power outage all over the place.
Argh, Brad sits himself down with Phyllis at the AC bar, offers to buy her a drink and proposes a truce to her. (Brad and his ulterior motives, lol.) Phyllis expresses her skepticism.
Victor wants to finish his conversation with Niki while she's at the ranch to be with her daughter. Niki continues to wonder how all this ever happened, wants them to stop trying to hurt one another and just move on. Victor sits back stoically.
Jack and Ashley chat, and as much as she likes LA and her work at Forester, she has zero love life since Ridge went back to Logan again. Sharon calls Jack to tell him that she and Noah are still stuck at Nick's. Jack doing his good guy thing with her and she cuts him off. saddens Jack. Jack tells his sister that he's really sorry about Sharon's lack of trust in him, tons of remorse as he realises bad stuff from the past always catches up with you and he's done something that will come out very soon and the sh*t will hit the fan.
Here it comes - Brad wants Phyllis to convince Jack that Sharon isn't good enough for him.
Jack tells Ashley about Gloria getting half of their father's estate unless they can stop it. She says she understand his protective instincts toward their dad, but don't fight Gloria on this and give her the money.
Over a card game, Nick advises Sharon to forgive Jack, that compared to what his father is doing to his mother, Jack looks like a pretty darn good guy.
Phyllis declines to help good old Brad in his schemes to bust up Jack and Sharon and she does NOT hate Sharon, she hates HIM and she hopes this little plan of his blows right up in his face!
A bunch of old Niki and Victor flashbacks to happier times. Victor tells her he has a solution to her problems - she get rid of David Chow and he'll forgive her the debt. (Take it, Niki, take it!!) But oh no, stupid Niki takes offense, gets all uppity, and refuses Victor's "lifeline". Victor tells her that her stubbornness will bury her.
Ashley continues her argument with Jack regarding Gloria and honouring their father's wishes. Jack's not quite convinced.
Brad calls Sharon's cell but she won't take the call, so he leaves her a message. Nick says this night reminds him of the storm the night Noah was born. They talk about how Noah's close call brought Cassie back to them (via Grace who found her), then a flashback to that night. Nick notes that Sharon isn't as sure about leaving Jack now as she was when she first got there. Sharon nods.
As Ashley looks into a snow globe, she remembers an old Christmas with their dad, then a Christmas with Abby at the Abbott house. She puts forth a suggestion to Jack that this course of action isn't what their father wouldn't have wanted for them, John appears and confirms it.
Phyllis and Nick on the phone - she warns him of Brad's plans to swoop in on Sharon the second she leaves Jack, so keep working on Sharon to reconsider leaving her husband. They agree.
Victor's eyes fill with tears as he looks on as Niki lovingly goes over her old sheet music in the piano seat.
Ashely goes off to call Abby leaving Jack alone to speak with John's ghost. Good scene! Jack's almost convinced to let it go with Gloria.
Noah crawls into the sofa bed with his mother (at Nick's) and asks his dad to stay downstairs with them too. Sure.
Niki reads a poem to Victoria, while downstairs, Victor sadly looks at old photo albums of the family.
Next morning, Niki is getting ready to leave the ranch house (she fell asleep in Victoria's room) and Victor ignores her, but as she leaves the house, Victor's face fills with sadness.
Phyllis is home and making breakfast. She hands Nick the thank you note from Noah and Sharon. Meanwhile, Sharon and Noah arrive back at the Abbott house. Jack greets her, looking hopeful. She reaches out to him, hugs him and says "we're back".

Devon tells Neil that Lily is still hung up on Cane. Neil, unimpressed, says "what a surprise".
Jack walks into GCAC to see Bradley reaching across a table to hold Sharon's hand, whispering to her how much he cares about her or something. Jack not happy.
