Lauren and Michael discuss Gloria's predicament with Jeff and his extortion scheme, how none of this would have happened if she'd been truthful from the start. Michael is worried how Gloria's misdeeds could affect them.
Jeff sees Jill at GCAC and greets her, invites her to join him in a celebration of his engagement. Jill rolls her eyes.
Gloria finds Kevin at CL, asks for his help. She's decided to leave the country, change her face, her name, Jeff will never find her. Kevin thinks not, that she'll beat Jeff, she'll come up with something.
Neil gets a call that his newly hired singer at Indigo has come down with flu. Flash over to Lily and Karen who gets a call from Neil asking her to sing at the club, please, please. She balks.
Lauren and Mike again, wringing hands over Gloria and his work load. Lauren suggests they stay out of Gloria's mess and let her work this out herself. Maybe this is a sign for him to draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough.
Meanwhile Kevin does his best to discourage Gloria from taking off, suggests they turn the tables on Jeff by turning the table on Jeff. If he doesn't have an Achilles Heel, they invent one for him.
Jill isn't impressed by Jeff's quickie engagement to Gloria, asks questions, then accepts Jeff's explanation of being hit by the love truck.
Neil and Lily work on Karen until she finally, reluctantly, agrees to sing at Indigo.
Devon and random girl plot and scheme to get Lily's blind date to Indigo, set it up to meet Lily and all. All set.
Kay joins Jill and Jeff (who takes off), expresses her shock at Jeff's news and suspects more to the story than "love". Cane joins the ladies, gets the news they want to give him a promotion to Director of Acquisitions. They raise glasses and toast to family.
Neil asks Lauren to help him with a fashion emergency for Karen, a size TWO (geez, really??) so Lauren cajoles Mike into going to the club with her. She'll take care of the dress for the reluctant singer.
Cane, Jill and Kay agree to head over to Indigo after dinner, listen to the new singer, as a celebration of his promotion.
Lauren arrives at Indigo with a selection of dresses for Karen, offers comfort and advice as they choose a dress.
CUTE kid shows up as Lily's blind date. I think he's Asian. Cute and a hottie.
Kevin advises his mother to get Jeff sloshed and yapping, get something GOOD out of him. They too are now at Indigo.
Gloria calls Jeff, invites him to Indigo, he agrees.
Nice little exchange between Lauren and Mike, then Lily and Karen who says she's a bundle of nerves. Neil does his best to calm her down.
Lily meets Allen Kelly, her blind date, and they hit it off well enough. Oops, in comes Cane with his 2 ladies and distracts Lily immediately as he seats his mother and g-mother at the next table. The smile is wiped right off her face. Cane then walks over to Lily's table, makes small talk, then an eye thing with Lily. Gloria greets Jeff with fake gushes and hugs. Kay notes all and says Gloria must be after something, as usual. Mike says he wants to throw up.
As Neil introduces his band, Karen freaks out and runs backstage - she can't do this. Neil says it's his fault for pushing her, kisses, all is okay. More kissing.
Meanwhile, Gloria orders a really strong drink for Jeff and a very weak one for herself. And then another, as she tries to get Jeff to say something incriminating. Ha! Jeff dumps his whole drink on the plant beside him when Gloria isn't looking. He's already steps ahead of her and she's quite pleased with herself thinking she's making progress with him. Funny, if you can stand those two.
Lily ducks outside to call Colleen as she's upset seeing Cane, leaves her a message. Cane follows her and admits to Lily that seeing her with her "date" made him really jealous. Huge kiss.
Next: Mike asks Victor what if the police were unable to reconstruct everything that was erased.
Gloria, drunk as a loon, calls Kevin (?) and says she has Jeffery exactly where she wants him.
