I am not sure what I will be up to today, just got an email saying that my first class tomorrow was cancelled. Who knows why. But it means I get to go to church, so YAH...I think I may head out for some coffee and then I need to take the trip out to get my books, still havent done that yet.
It's snowing a lot this morning, so whatever errands I need to run, I'll do at the end of the afternoon after the ploughs have been out. Ted left at 7 for a day long seminar at the Sutton Place Hotel down on Bay Street, so I'll plan on picking him up at 5:45 at the subway. Other than two online tasks and a couple of phone calls, the day is mine to do with as I want, thank goodness. I'll definitely be watching Y&R at 11 this morning.
My son, Tony, is madly looking for a replacement for his new hired hand who jumped ship yesterday to fly to India to see his ailing father. If you know of anyone who's an ace software designer, reliable, and hard-working, send him this way. Geography isn't an issue right off the bat, but they would, down the line, need to sit in Tony's office with him. It's on the subway line, very handy to reach.
Time for a hot cup of coffee and a piece of toast with marmalade.
Oh we had snow, the roads were a mess, my good mood is totally spoiled! Had to dig out boots and scarves and we were running late, then traffic was a disaster!
Sorry I don't know any ace software programmers. I know someone who went to school for it and did graduate, but I don't know how good she is.
I woke up with my eye issues again. I hate my sinuses officially now. Doc says it's from sinuses draining and making my eye all puffy. I just hate it. So I'm actually sitting here in the front room with my new sunglasses on. They are a knock off of a pair of Gucci sunglasses that I fell in love with while browsing the other day. We actually saw them at the mall Saturday and the husband got them for me even though they were a little more than I would normally pay for them. It was sweet of him. I love them lol.
Floyd got lots of goodies at work yesterday for his birthday too. He came home with tons of Bath and Body Works stuff (his team is a bunch of girls with a keen sense of sales and BBW so they have this stuff on hand lol) a 25.00 gift card for Chili's, a bottle of wine, and some other little goodies. I have some thank you notes and cards to buy today.
