Well here we are in the middle of another week and in CT its all rainy and I assume cold. Not something I look forward to venturing out into. I was going to drop Jolene off at day care today but she was coughing all night so I think that we will give her pink eye one more day to just go away. So I am stuch here inside.
Not fun, really. At 11:20 I'm picking up Tony from his office and driving to pick up Vanessa from Montessori school, then back to their house to put lunch on the table, wait for d-i-l and baby to get back from an appointment. Then I'm off to parents' place to take care of a couple of things, then back home, pick up Ted and take him to the subway. After that, I'll nip into the grocery store for fresh veggies, then home until it's time to go back and get Ted from the train station. Lots of running around today. It's my chauffeuring day, I guess.
It's awful outside here too, Shelly. Really windy and cold. Our front door keeps rattling from the wind.
Still not a word from Nick. I hate it when more than a week goes by with no word at all. He posted a line in Facebook a couple of days ago, so at least I know he was okay then. 73 days left until he's home. An entire year.
It's freezing here. Yesterday started out nice and warm in fact we set a record for warm weather for the area. Then thanks to the arctic front that came in we had storms and even tornado watches and a few warnings. Then everything turned icy and it started snowing. So it's really cold here. We have to pick up more gatorade. It really is the only thing that seems good right now. I was dying for some good ole greasy spoon cheese burgers. You know I am sure you all have a local place that makes the best cheese burgers. So I had one last night and I can't believe I finished it. Their burgers are humongous so I usually don't finish it. I guess not eating solids for days will give you quite the appetite.
