So yeah we got a foot of snow here. It's very cold. The kids are home and even the husband is home. Darn ATT was nice and let him use a vacation day. There are 3 people at the call center in Springfield which is normally staffed to full capacity with about 800 people. It's one of the largest in the area so I really feel sorry for all of the other call centers picking up the slack.
I remember when there was the tornado and they had to take over for the slack. Well it was a bad deal for those poor people. On the bright side they got a lot of overtime.
So what's everyone up to today. Everyone having a good day.
We got about 15 centimeters of the white stuff overnight too. I have to leave soon to take mother around to her spa things and the ploughs haven't been out yet so I have no idea what this will be like. I'm not looking forward. Part of me says to heck with it, but it's just a bit of snow and it IS February, like what do we expect?
Well. it's 4 hours later and I'm back home from the errands that usually take me just an hour or so. Bad driving. Very bad, and it's still coming down like crazy. Gah! Winter! Insult to injury - I had a shampoo and blow dry and while cleaning off my car, head got all wet and front of my do went flat. $30 out the window. Also, had to cancel our evening out to hear Mike's gig and meet friends for dinner.
Lainey's loaded up on smut today. Take a gander. And she's eliminated several BI possibles too.
we have had lots of rain. No snow but weather calls for sleet. Honestly I would rather have snow. We got enough rain that one of the guys staying in the hotel may have to move because his room may take in water by nights end.
I spent the day very bored at work, winter in Mystic is very slow. Though I did request a packet for Eastern Conn University. I found out that I have 8 months left on my GIBill after this semester so I am going to attempt a Bachelors in that amount of time. Who knows, could happen huh.
Anyways, I am SO congested. I made an appointment to see about this deviated septum thing I may have. I hope I don't but at the same time it would be nice to know why I can't hardly breathe out of my nose. So I am off to read the other spoilers and veg before I have to go get Jolene
Sorry for all the snow troubles! It's bright and sunshiny, and a very warm 30 degrees. The roads are still horrible though...the ice is melting very slowly from last week. But, we are supposed to see a little of the white stuff tonight. Hopefully not a lot!
