We watched Sicko a while ago. Having lived in both the USA and here, I think the representations were pretty accurate.
I hope one day Americans will enjoy what we here have considered a right for decades.
P.S. I was surprised that Michael Moore didn't look to Norway and Iceland for comparisons to the US system of health care. That would have been really interesting.
I would very much like to see Sicko. Back in college, I did some studying on the health systems in American versus other countries, and it was really eye-opening.
It's so scary to think that "it" could happen to any one of us. We could get terribly sick and the insurance company could find something in our past to say we had a "pre-existing" condition! And then the cost of drugs are way over priced. Pretty wild that woman got her inhaler for 5 cents in Cuba and it cost $120 here. Jody, do you have pay per view? Check out the movie, but be prepared to be really upset when it's over.
