Bright and sunny morning today, but still freezing cold. I can't wait for spring!!
I dosed hub last night with his anti-a remedy, and what a difference! I should have done that 3 days ago. Five minutes after taking it, he was sweetness and light again and the snarling crab was a faint memory. Men! He did, however, put super-soapy pots in the dishwasher again so I awoke to a mini flood in the kitchen, but at least the floor is squeaky clean.
Today is just some banking, a pile of laundry and tea with parents at 4. Shelly - that trick Vinnie told you about for windshield wipers didn't do the trick, but thanks so much anyway. Jojo, my far away friends are there for a while yet. The one lady in NZ is on a 6 week tour, reports that she's the youngest person in the group and she's 10 years older than me, so they must all be fossils, lol. She has excellent computer access so we get a daily report. She says she plans on spending all future winters down there. Not a bad idea considering the crappy winter we've suffered through this time. Gah.
Moore - marrying a plumber isn't such a bad idea! Decent hours and a good bottle of anti-bacterial soap, properly fitting trousers and a nice bank account - and there ya have a darn good life! My guys are all into brainy types of work but at least they all three know how to cook. I wanted to give the next generation of ladies that little break. I wish my m-i-l (God rest her soul) had taught her son a thing or two in the kitchen.
So what's on for today? Anybody have excitement on the horizon?
Lots to do today. Floyd's car pool person is leaving work early so he's not too happy. I cancelled my dentist appointment because I thought he would be riding with her, but now that's a big no. At least Cody will be going in. He has a cavity (maybe 2) and I'd rather they take care of him first and foremost. I am rescheduled for late April .. yay.
Then in the afternoon we have to take Aiden to get his shots .. poor lil guy. And now yippee I get to pick Floyd up from work as well. Grr I'm not loving it.
I suppose relatively speaking everything is going ok. I come by every now and then and when I see someone or something to talk about i'll stop and comment on it. I hope you're doing ok as well Kaeell.
Can we say crazy!? Because the girl cancelled on taking him home we realized I might as well go to the dentist anyway. So I got my cleaning and x-rays (gah). The doc said my teeth were perfect. The cavity was completely unpreventable. Apparently my jaw bone comes down in front of my two very back teeth. SO no matter how much brushing, flossing, or mouth wash I would still get the cavities so he told me it'd be nonsensical to fill them. So we decided just to let things be until they actually bother me. At that point we'll just pull it and the one on the other side out.
We are lucky and Cody's cavity is actually a baby tooth and is very loose so it'll be out before there's really a problem. Good news all around. We're supposed to get more snow tonight. Yippee lol.

I'm okay. A bit overwhelmed, sad, disappointed...the stuff life is full of. Same time, I'm over the moon about a little thing that happened today, so that counts, non?
Then I saw the weather report for the next few weeks and it cleaned my clock. Several more snow storms. I have no words. :(
