I don't know if I think Priscilla will win. I am just glad to see her doing something so public. I mean when was the last time she was seen doing something so public. I think thats awesome. And she looks really good for 62.
My only fear for Kristi is that with the way people criticized Sabrina last season for having the dancing experience people may do the same with Kristi...And that annoys me
I really hope they go easy on Kristi. I am a huge huge fan. Seiously wanted to be a figure skater when I was younger all because of her. My butt was always bruised in the winter. I tried so hard to skate on the lake at my grandma's even in skates that were way to big for me. THey fit me now though lol. Wow I was such a dorky weird kid.
Anyone still watching DWTS now? My husband loves it, so I sit there with him while he comments on this one and that.
Ted's remarks to date:
Christian - can't stand him and the way he milks his injury. Also mucho in love with self and his good looks. Not a turn-on for me either. Ugh.
Mario - cocky little kid but a pretty good dancer when he puts his mind to it.
Kristi - Ted still thinks she shouldn't be in the contest because of her skating experience. Me, I think she should leave her hair alone. Some of those styles look just terrible on her!
The girl from Hairspray - well, she IS bubbly.
The tall football guy - He's graceful but so tall that he looks awkward sometimes. I think he's probably a very nice man.
We watch it every week, but had to Tivo it last night since it was Jim's birthday, and we were at dinner. Unfortunately, we always miss the elimination show because it conflicts with American Idol. (Okay, I admit it -- I'm addicted, and have been from the beginning.)
I think that Kristi is going to win it. She may have an advantage with the skating, but on the other hand, she has also overcome a lot, and the skating helped with that. Jim and I had never known, until they revealed it on DWTS, that she was born with clubbed feet.
I like Mario too.
Honestly, I don't see what everyone sees in "tall football guy". I think he looks stiff, and hunched over. He always gets rave reviews from the judges, but I think that Mario is more graceful.

Moore you should try and tivo tonights DWTS because its suppose to be the 100th episode and they will have some cool people on it.
I haven't watched much, I watched last week and actually thought that the Hairspray girl was really fun. Don't think that she will last much longer. And I hope that they vote Cristian off soon, I don't like him and think that the arm thing is just like what Marie did last year when she fainted, it gets him sympathy votes.
I always hope for a girl to win since we haven't had a girl since the first season. But none of the girls this season really wow me. I like Kristy and don't know if I think she shouldn't be on because of her skating only because she hasn't skated in forever. I don't know if she is a favorite to win anyways, I think that either Mario or the football player are.
Agree with you, Moore, on tall football guy. As much as I think he's a good fella, he shouldn't be getting such lavish praise from the judges, especially Len (old one). That baffles me too.
Mario did beautifully last night in the jive, we thought, and yet he was chastised by Len for being too "modern" or something. What do we know, lol?
Hey, don't apologise for being addicted to AI. So are we!! I really look forward to seeing it Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And I'm really rooting for David Cook! The other David, the little kid, is just too young. He has loads of potential, but not enough heart yet. He just doesn't have the miles to "feel" enough.
And I'm absolutely gobsmacked that the dreadlock kid id still there! Tattoo girl had so much more talent, IMHO. However, I did find that enormous tattoo very distracting. Did you see her husband in the audience? OMG!!! Scary.
Carly was the one with the tatoos (yes, I saw her husband), and I thought that she was fabulous. Dreds should have gone a LONG time ago (I really don't think that he's taken this very seriously), although I think that he does have a niche. A small one, but a niche nevertheless...
We love both Davids in our household too. David Cook could very well win the competition, unless there's an upset. This has happened almost every year because people become complacent, and don't vote. I absolutely adore "little David", and I always comment that his entire face changes once he begins to sing, and he looks much older.
I had to laugh at your comment about DWTS when you asked, "what do we know?" That is absolutely verbatim what Jim and I always say when we do our own inhouse critiques of a dance, only to have it trashed (or praised) by the judges -- usually the opposite of what we thought. We look at each other and say, "what do we know...???"

It really surprised me! I honestly believed Mario was a contender for the finals. He wasn't my favourite at all, but he could dance!
I guess Cristian's looks and the sympathy factor pushed him through another week. That, and the judges really liked his one arm dancing.
And did you watch AI last night? What a disappointment for me. I didn't like any of the songs. In fairness, though, I missed David Cook's second song while on the phone. Was it any good?
We laughed when Simon told Jason to "pack your bags". That's GOT to be the result for tonight, non?
I actually haven't watched much this week. Recorded DWTS last night and haven't watched yet. I have been being the good wife and sitting on the couch with Vinnie even though I couldn't be less interested in what he was watching.
