Hey kids who watch Y&R, go take a look at 2 posts Daniel Goddard (Cane) made at the SOC board. I was over there looking for a spoiler or two when I saw them, popped in and said hi. How nice was that!!! (Of him, not of me, lol.) Also, in a separate thread, he posted a video that he, Thad (JT) and CSJ (Neil) made to prove that it was in fact him and not some goof ball hoax nut.
Apparently Michael Knight (Tad on AMC) posts on various websites, but I have no idea whether or not he's ever posted on SOC. I doubt that he has. I also read somewhere that TSJ-Todd likes to read the message boards too.
This, though, is why we're so strict about actor bashing on SOC. As the rules say, actors DO read the message boards, so we can't allow any inappropriate remarks to remain.
Way cool that they participate! I think that the AMC board would go freaking NUTS if it were discovered that one of the actors was posting over there!!!

Once, several years back, I was at a luncheon/fashion show at a restaurant here called The Old Mill. As I was coming back after a trip to powder my nose, there was Michael Damien and a friend. (He played Danny Romalotti on Y&R off and on for years.) I went right over to him and said hello, he shook my hand, we chatted idly for several minutes, then he kissed my cheek. After that one little encounter, I was a fan of Y&R forever!!
These promotional tours the actors make really are effective. Not that Michael Damien was on a tour, he wasn't. He'd just come to town as a tourist and dropped into The Old Mill for lunch and was wandering around when I bumped into him. But I'll never forget that day.
Now if I ever bumped into Daniel Goddard, I'd probably try to take him home with me. *snort* He is adorable!
