Ha ha, Daniel has all of Amber's hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, asks her about it suspiciously and she flubs lies. (Looks like they had been in bed together just before. They're at Amber's new place, Phyllis's old apartment.) He's furious with her for lying, wants the truth.
Neil tells Karen he's in love with her, ditto her to him. (Is this a foreshadowing of Dru coming back???)
Victor recalls the day he fired Nick.
Sneaky smart alec goody-2-shoes Adam on his laptop at the bar in GCAC recalls his last encounter with Phyllis. He's stuck on her. Meanwhile, Phyllis and Nick start to make love.
Amber blurts out that the money was Plum's, she couldn't resist taking it. Daniel's speechless, very angry. "Do you realise how much trouble we are in because of this?"
Huge argument between Amber and Daniel. He says finding that money changes everything.
JT notices that Victoria's never been the same since they got married. She says baby blues, then kisses and ILY's.
Adam calls that person in NYC he talked to the other day, leaves message that he misses NY, misses a lot of things. He's obviously lonely, just as Victor is.
Neil asks Karen to move in with him. Kiss.
Adam daydreams about kissing Phyllis, calls himself a stupid horny jerk.
Phyllis asks Nick to lighten up on Adam a little. Kisses, ILY's.
More yelling and screaming between Daniel and Amber over the money. He wants her to do the right thing, she doesn't want to. Is Daniel beginning to soften up and agree with her? Yep! Kisses and sex on top of the money.
Back to Phyllis and Nick eating enormous sandwiches. Nick agrees to give Adam some guidance.
Karen tells Neil she isn't ready for marriage, neither is he, but they need to be really sure that they know what they're doing. Kisses, ILY's.
Adam visits Victor at the ranch, is impressed by the ranch and surrounding spread. Adam suggests they change the name of the Beauty of Nature to something more edgy and modern. Victor tells him he only allowed B of N to advertise in Restless Style so Adam could learn from a failure. Adam says he knows, but wants this to succeed.
After the money sex, Daniel says they have 2 things to figure out - what to do about the money, and what to do about them (as a couple).
Victor suggests to Adam that he claim his rightful name, Newman. He then dismisses the kid to see himself out, and leaves to go to bed. Adam walks around the room, gets comfortable with the idea of becoming part of the Newman dynasty.
Daniel tells Amber that he thinks there might be a way for them to "have it all", as he flips a wad of money back and forth.

I am loving Daniel and Amber. Though I think its a little cliched that Daniel and Amber, and Cane and Lily swapped romances.
And yeah, I have heard that they might be bringing Dru back. They sure have mentioned her a lot with Lily's modeling, and you know when they start mentioning someone that means they will bring them back.
Shelly, you'll love the sex on the pile of money scene then, lol. They are fun to watch, agree.
There's another major romance swap with Phyllis, Nick, Jack and Sharon too. That drove me nuts at first, not so much anymore. What does bug me though is failure to address age differences. So Jack has a good 15 years on Sharon and Nick has got to be 10 years younger than Phyllis, say so. Address it on the soap. Let the characters at least allude to it occasionally. They're doing that with Cane and Lily, why not the others? And Amber has a few years on Daniel, too.
Maybe that's why I'm so grossed out by Adam sniffing around Phyllis and her responding to the attention. Today she was positively wriggling at him in the preview, dressed in a sexy little one shoulder get-up and flipping her hair around. Ugh.
yeah I had hoped that Adam's infatuation with Phyllis would be completely one sided...he is cute, though he would be much suited with like Colleen or someone like that.
