Sunday, March 9. Everyone set their clocks?

Hi all! I'm so not liking this losing an hour of sleep!

What's everyone up to today? Kae, how's your parents? Any more phone incidents?

I'm about to run to the store for a few things, so that I can settle in for the NASCAR race.

Oh, and I have some fairly big news. My sister-in-law and I patched things up. It only took about 20 minutes too. We shared some harsh words over text messages the other morning, and I finally decided to call her and has it out. We hollered, cried and made up. It was all very surreal, but what a load off. I feel so much better about it.

It was just the stress of having Jackson and I live there, and there were some miscommunications, and some perceptions of how things were. We just pissed each other off, and instead of dicussing it, we let it build up.

That can happen so easily, I always fought with my college room mates. It didn't help I was a neat freak.

Glad it's all ironed out!

How's the job and apartment? How do you like the weather? Have you met any new friends? Going to any groups or activities?

Jojo, I am SOOOO happy for you!! What a huge relief! Congratulations!

We spent the day at the big regional mall buying Easter outfits with the little ones, lunch, and a stop at Godiva for a bag of their dark truffles. Vanessa, who'll be 3 in a few weeks, is quite the little shopper. Her eyes lit up when she saw the "perfect" dress at The Children's Place, then later at Pottery Barn Kids, she fell in love with the doll house. It was an pricey outing, but so much fun!!

What an enormous difference in her since her mommy gave her the Chamomilla. Huge.

We had a really big lunch, so dinner tonight is a bowl of soup. Jojo, I'm exhausted too from the loss of the hour. We were up at 7 because the of the snow dump and so much shovelling to be done. I can't ever remember so much snow in Toronto. It feels like we're back in the Laurentians for Pete's sake.

I ordered the leg of lamb for Easter dinner two weeks today. What are you guys having? My dad loves his lamb roasts, so it had to be that.

Jojo - my parents are fine, and thanks for asking. Ted and I stopped by there for a little while to clear their path as a big snow cornice had fallen from the roof after their plough guy had been by. What a winter, huh?

Im not sure yet what we are doing for Easter. I am going to be putting Jojo's basket together. I really dislike Lamb but I am pretty sure that I have a venison roast in the freezer that might be good.
Today I am tired but only because I was afraid I would oversleep because of the change. That and my phone didn't change right away but the cable box did so I couldn't tell which clock was right. Plus I watched a Ghost Whisperer episode rather late last night and so had funky dreams. None that I remember in detail just remember that they were weird.

Jojo I am so happy for you and your SIL. I bet a huge relief has just been lifted, have you slept better since then?

I really could have used that lost hour of sleep last night!

JoJo -- I'm so glad that you worked things out with your sister-in-law. That's wonderful news. Sometimes a good hard cry can really cleanse the soul.

KaeEll, leg of lamb is my favorite!

Am running. Just wanted to do a drive-by "hello"...

Glad to hear about the good news Jojo. I think we are going to my cousin's for Easter. Not exactly sure though. I would kinda like to stay closer to home, but our family really makes a big deal about these holidays.

Lamb sounds so good Kae. I'm absolutely green with jealousy. We usually have the same ole same ole ham, potatoes etc ...

Ugh I'm so tired. We went for Chinese today and met up with some of Floyd's friends by chance. The wife was a little ummm country bumpkin I guess lol. You could really tell that she works around young children all day. Nice people though, so it was a good day.

Thanks everyone! Shelly, I totally have slept better. And it's such a huge, relieving feeling. My brother dropped Jackson off yesterday because he spent the night at their house. We had a nice chat. Like old time.

Still getting dumped with snow Kae? GAH. It was beautiful here yesterday and today. Nice warm weather. Jackson was able to go out and play with the neighborhood children! And good to hear the parents are good. What a frightening, weird incident the other night!

Tina, work and stuff is good. I'm finally beginning to really settle in and feel at home. Of course, I still miss my family. And I'm beginning to venture out a little more with friends. I don't have many, but I enjoy getting out of the house.

YUM. Jess, Chinese sounds so yum right now. We don't have any good chinese places here. HMMPH. I really miss it, along with good ol' Tex Mex food.

I don't know what I'm doing for Easter, either. Probably spending the day with the brother and sister in law. It will be fun I'm sure.

Kae, that shopping outing with Vanessa sounds fun! And what is the chamomilla?

For Easter I'm going to my dad's the day before, my family likes to do it early so we can have it with immediate family/other side day of.

Then going to my in-laws for Easter. Always ham.

I have to dig the baskets out and start buying sugary stuff and small toys. My kids get way too much every year.

I should go to church, but I hate when it's packed. I prefer smaller congregations.

I could have used the extra hour of sleep too, Gabi has been restless/slightly sick, and I have a head cold beginning.

Eh don't feel bad Tina. We got an unexpected check in the mail, the state took too much of FLoyd's money for that other person's kid's child support. Luckily for us they refunded it.

Usually they just keep ahold of it as a credcit. So we are so lucky. WEll, of course we've been buying tons of stuff for the kids for Easter. Ty Beanie baby lambs was the last thing. I think we're also going to get 101 Dalmations for them as a big gift. Maybe Alvin and the Chipmunks CD. OH man my kids would b e so spoiled if we ever got rich.
