What would the soap that you use to watch have to do in order to get you to start watching again?
I just looked and beside the recaps that me and Kae (sometimes Jess) share the last time someone posted about a soap was 3 days ago and I think that was about spoilers....For a soap board none of us talk about soaps. What would it take for us to talk about them again??
I really do enjoy Y&R and would love to chat about it with you! But OLTL is history for me now. I just can't stand one minute of it. If I do spend a short time with it on, I feel like I'm watching something dirty and sordid, not at all like the days not so long ago when I loved that show. I don't even read spoilers for it any longer! That surprised me too. Somehow the writing for the soap has changed so drastically, gearing towards a different demographic, no doubt, that it has no appeal and I don't care if it ever does again, because my habit is gone.
It was only a few weeks ago that I tried to post a live thread for OLTL and made it through about 15 minutes before the whole thing bored me to death. And to be brutally honest here, some of the more rabid fans (not here but on a bigger board we all know) actually played a significant role in turning me off the soap. I was so consistently astounded by the ardour many of them displayed, that the subject itself became disgusting. Just me. But there you have it, lol.

I think I just hate commercials more than ever. I end up on the internet during them and don't make it back to my show
