Day Ahead April 16

Not much of an episode today, really. Lots of Lily angst as she goes to visit her mother's old dance studio and runs into the teacher who advises her that her mother has given her a sign of what to do already, that is, have the baby and keep it.

Lily blurts out to Chloe about expecting a baby, Chloe says sayonara to her modelling career.

Then some snark between Adam and Phyllis who has lost patience with the little smarty-pants upstart.

Victor admits he's a bit sad about Victoria's reaction to the Sabrina/Victor news. Sabrina's around a fair bit, but nothing really to talk about there. She acquires Victor's first piece of modern art for $1.6 million. Victor wants to celebrate later.

David comes back, finally, from his "trip to Texas on family emergency" business, and Brad swoops in to taunt him with gambling at a poker game.

Victoria tells her mother about Sabrina and Niki isn't surprised, assures Victoria that the affair with Sabrina isn't serious.

Adam makes Sabrina gulp when he asks her if she and Victor just had their first lovers' quarrel. He congratulates her on her "good move" in sleeping with the rich and powerful Victor, winks at her. She blinks back.

Nick ponders the mortgage thing, knocks around ideas with Phyllis about why his father did it. He concludes it was done in order to control him.

Niki advises Victoria to get rid of her anger (over Sabrina and her father), it's not good for her. She'll try.

David's eyes go all shifty as he tells Niki he turned down Brad's invitation to play poker. Hugs.

There's a long conversation over lunch with Jill and Cane about the baby, all leaning strongly to having and loving it.

Karen tells Neil that if he helps to raise Lily's baby, they are through, not that she's asking for him to choose between her and his daughter. (No? Sounds exactly like what she's asking him to do!)

Lily announces to her father that she's keeping the baby.

Nick calmly confronts Victor about the mortgage, says he's never been happier in his life. He realises that he can't stop him from interfering with his life, but he can stop himself from caring, and he has! (Good for you, Nick!! Yay!)

Next:
Kevin asks Michael if Gloria ambushed him. Michael responds that she has new demands. Lauren adds "and it's a biggie".

Sharon to Jack "First she gives us the mansion, and now this".

Cane says to Katherine that once they move back home to raise the baby, he doesn't want to insult the man, but it's not his child (referring to Neil, I gather).

Sounds kind of blah...I still don't like Adam and really hope that Nick and Phyllis can manage to get the best of him.

I wonder what Sharon and Jack were referring to in the preview there...curious

Spoiler/Rumour:

Lily loses the baby through miscarriage. I was kind of sad to hear of that, but this does clear things up more for a story.

Sharon was holding a store bag that looked like something they received as a present. It didn't seem that she had opened it yet to look inside.

very interesting, I am a bit sad about Lily having a miscarriage. I was hoping she would have it and prove to everyone that she could still model while being a mom....I mean Dru did it
