It went incredibly well. I have my final interview wednesday. On top of that God gave me a lil gift.

You know how we all believe that God will take care of the (for lack of a better term) revenge part of life for us and we should just leave things in God's hands... well, I got proof yesterday that it really does happen.

When I first started working for ATT (was cingular then), I got involved with someone who was supposed to be just so great. Well, it ended up that he wasn't. I'll save the details but he was a total jerk! It wasn't long after that that I met Floyd and well you know the rest. However I still had to work with him until he either got fired or quit at one point. Still harbored much animosity.

Well, anyways yesterday 5 of us were interviewing for positions with ComCast. A very nice young lady (well she was older than I am but she looked young lol), 2 random but nice guys, me ... and THE EX! At first I was so annoyed at the thought of working with him, then I said my lil prayer asked God to give me patience and to lead me in the right way. So we go in do the little power point and then have a break at which point he tries talking .. I mentioned that yes I'm still married to the guy who threatened to break him in half if he ever looked at me again (yeah the jerk used to literally stalk my team when I worked at ATT he started training at one point and would always send people to sit with me ... it's flattering when a good trainer does it because you're good but when some smarmy s.o.b does it to try and get on your good side .. grrrr!) anyways .. I more or less blew him off. I figured I'll be cordial and civil but stern that he better leave me the heck alone.

After the break, we had pannel interviews. It was easy but very different so I was a little nervous about it. We just had to intro ourselves, give some work background, then describe a difficult customer service experience and how it ended up, and finally kinda try to sell them our favorite channel. First guy did a pretty good job visibly nervous but who isn't, then the ex went.. now I kinda knew that he had a bad bad history of lying and trying to sell himself for something he isn't. And he had already been doing it in the breakroom. Said he was working with Toshiba, when the hubby had seen him at Panera last freakin month! Ha, anywho, The first part .. ok, the difficult customer service thing was an absolute disaster. Instead of being smart and using his prior call center experience for his benefit, he started talking about some guy who bought an 8000.00 tv and wanted som drl thing to work and no one understood, and after hearing him use his shop talk during 89 percent of the answer everyone was quite puzzled. ............... Sooo after our interviews and stuff the interviewers went out and talked a bit and came back and told us that they think they know who they want, so if we get through to another interview/testing, they will call us in 24 hours, she's really really busy so if she doesn't personally call in 24 hours your info will be filed and more or less goodluck, and to be nice the other trainer would walk us all to the exit because it's kind of confusing. So the first two people go, and I'm sitting here thinking "why wouldn't we all just go out together" so I thought something was up. When it was my turn, I thought ugh I blew it everyoen else is sitting somewhere getting ready for the next round.. and then he walks me into a conference room.

Yay!!! Then it hit me .. ohhh they wouldn't do this if someone didn't make it through and the only person left was the ex! Everyone else was in the room. After about 5 minutes he didn't show up. Now I might be evil for delighting in it, but he made my life so uncomfortable, for such a long time, and I mean come on I ddint' cause it. I'm sure he'll find his way into something. After all according to him he's a contractor, has a degree in everything, has worked right under the prez of Toshiba, hangs out with Tim McGraw because he did such a great job tiling his floors, and has contacts in Hollywood.

So yeah then we went on to do testing for a little over an hour after which the rest of us all found out we've made it to the next round of interviews which I was told by my insider you'd have to do something really really stupid and really really dumb to not get the job at that point! So yay good day sorry i didn't stop in earlier kisses all .. I have to go get the laundry!
