Here we are, another Thursday! I am working from home today, yeah! I have my new shed being delivered and assembled today, so I am very excited. My new one is 12X12, vinyl sided (same colors as the house), has three windows, with window boxes, a seven foot wide roll-up door, a loft and a solar light. I was able to design it on-line, and the company came recommended to me from a good friend.
The old shed was dismantled and removed last week by my brother-in-law. I can not believe how much stuff I have accumulated over the years for the lawn and pool. I have my riding mower and snow blower in the back, by the house. I can't wait to get those things put back away. I definitely have admitted that I may have had a problem related to purchasing planters for flowers... I can not believe how many of the darn things I own, what was I ever thinking???
The temperatures are going to be in the high 70's here today, I already have the windows open. The birds are singing, and I have to squirrels playing on one of my oak trees outside of my office here. Dang this is good.
Ireland was wonderful, I'll post some pictures in another thread.
Your pictures were fantastic, and made me want to jump onto the next airplane headed for Ireland!
It's going to be very warm here again today with some possible showers later on. The birds are singing, and my little "pet" chipmunk has been sunning himself on his favorite flower box, on the deck outside the kitchen window. I MAY have the same problem with flower pots/planters that you have, Tess, but I'm not officially admitting it yet...
Enjoy the day!

we had great weather for a few days here, you Easterners are getting that now!
Today is cooler.
I have a long list of things to buy, but I'm actually getting tired of shopping.
The kids all out grew their clothes and I've been hitting alot of stores lately, getting shorts, swimming trunks, shoes, jeans, etc. Trying to hit clearance racks and outlet malls as much as possible, but then it still adds up. Hard to keep up with bills most days. I'm tired of it.
we have a "wish" list. stuff for this year and then next. Patio cushions, Ryan bedspread, Zach new mattress, are on the top for this year
I guess at least I find good sales. One day I hope to be ahead
we don't even eat out anymore, gas prices are crazy! And we haven't had steaks for months! We used to buy rib-eye or filet mignon every so often and grill. But our budget right now is hamburgers and spaghetti!!
At least Ed stopped drinking, we are saving lots by not buying beer
Beautiful pictures, Tess! Enjoy the new shed, too. My son and d-i-l need a new shed BIG time as theirs is falling apart. Too bad they couldn't use the same company, but I'm sure the cross-border business would be impossible.
Well, Nick agreed to stick around for a while, not move into his friend's condo just now. He saw how upset I was and decided to placate his old mother for the time being. He's scrambling now, as expected, after a whole year away, school finished for the time being, new job ahead of him, and no girl friend any more. So many changes. I don't know if Europe is back on, now that he isn't going to be paying rent.
I ended up driving Ted to the subway early today. How we miss walking to it! Gorgeous hazy day here, 18 degrees (sweater weather), birds chirping, trees budding, Forsythia in full bloom, and all the daffodils! What a glorious time of the year.
My flowers are finally starting to peak out. I planted them really late so they have started late. The weather is gorgeous here. Found a nice patio set at the local grocery store for only 99 bucks, comes with an umbrella and everything so I am going to go pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait to be able to sit outside while Jolene plays in the yard.
Not much planned for today, have to go into class to take a test. Other then that will spend the day cleaning house.
Just found a swimming class on base that is pretty cheap. Will be calling soon to get Jolene into it. She needs to know how to swim already. Now I need to find a good, cheap gymnastics class for her.
