Very interesting! It reminds me of the fuel crisis back when Jimmy Carter was president, and we were designated days (even number versus odd number) on which we were allowed to pump gas. That's also when speed limits were bumped down to 55 mph, in an effort to save on gas.

something is wrong when the oil company makes an 11 billion dollar profit on oil in the first quarter of the year.

Seems like they are overpricing the oil. Or am I missing something??

If the phone company was making that huge of a profit, all Hell would break loose, ditto for the cable company.

I mean I realize Exon stock holders want to earn even more money, but the average person needs to be able to afford gas AND groceries right??confused.gif
