The thing is that we HAVE U.S. ships in the area where they were ALREADY doing practice maneuvers for disasters! They can get food and supplies in there (by chopper) very quickly, and the ships themselves can be there within a day or two. We're just waiting for permission to be ALLOWED IN by the Burmese!

Moore thats what happened with that russian sub several years back that sunk. We could have saved every one of them but the Russian government didn't want us anywhere near their submarines. I wish the rest of the world would realize that we aren't just meanies and that we do want to help.
