Paul talks to JT about finding an ex wife of David's.
David sneaks into Niki's purse for her credit card and SS numbers, calls the bank to up the credit limit while adding Niki on his card as a ruse to accomplish that.
Mon cherie crap from Victor to Sabrina and in comes Lauren with a prearranged (by doting silly old Victor) wardrobe shopping spree for Sabrina.
Adam ticks off Neil big time by giving him orders!
Brad literally bangs into Heather, asks her out to dinner but she's got too much work.
Neil calls Victor, V asks him to keep on top of Adam - he's smart but very young.
Sky calls Adam and he says he should thank David Chow for funding this little vacation of hers. (huh?) He says not a word to Niki just yet, it'll be his ace in the hole, and he'll play that only when the timing is absolutely right. (Hmmm - what the heck is he up to?)
Paul visits Neil, asks him how well he knows David Chow - can't stand him, asks about the Carmen Mesta affair etc. Neil says not trusting David Chow is the understatement of the year.
Victoria suggests to Brad that he shouldn't be dating the corporate counsel as a way up the ladder around Jabot. Brad takes it as jealousy (of course).
Bank lady says she has to talk to Niki before raising David's credit limit, frustrating him to no end.
Paul and JT discuss how to dig up more dirt on Chow through Granville Global and JT agrees to help Paul access them.
David's still scrambling around finding money - lies, ruses...and more frustration as bank says they can't be too careful.
Sabrina pulls the "this is just TOO much, I love you for who you are, not your money, what will people think, what will people say..." routine with Victor when he offers to buy all the outfits Lauren brought over, and he eats it right up, silly old fool that he is.
Good for Neil - he puts Adam in his place. Nice going, Neil!! Then Neil calls Victoria as he's suspicious that Adam did something either neglectful or downright wrong with a new acquisition, asks Victoria to join in on a conference call with him to talk about that with the accountants. (AHA - Adam's big screw-up.)
As David stews over his money woes, Brad interrupts and invites David over for stag night of low key poker. David declines, they have a difference of opinion. David's getting very tense.
JT gets through to Chow's ex as Paul traces the call, or at least tries to as she hangs up abruptly. Paul only got the area code, learns she's in Bermuda.
Heather calls Niki - she's found something fishy in Elliot's case work, Niki needs to look at it asap.
Neil reports to Victor about Adam's screw-up - that company he insisted they buy has an outstanding lawsuit against it, and the plaintiff is Jabot. OH OH!
Next: Paul to JT : "the key here lies with Mrs. Chow number 3, the one in Bermuda".
Phyllis says to Nick something about what if he goes away and never wants to come back. Amber's in tears.
Neil reports to Victor about Adam's screw-up - that company he insisted they buy has an outstanding lawsuit against it, and the plaintiff is Jabot. OH OH!
So I guess it does have to do with Newman losing Victoria. Sounds like a can't miss show. I am getting excited about the David stuff and the Adam stuff
When Neil called Victoria, he asked her several questions about the audit she had done on the company Adam was buying for Newman, but she told him that she left before the report came back to her. She told Neil that she had the audit done more out of spite towards Adam than thoroughness, lol. That was funny, because it was HER audit that showed the outstanding action against the company. And I assume that the "Elliot" case that Heather phoned Niki for was on the same topic.
It was a really good episode, full of all kinds of stuff. Not an epi to have on as background noise this time.
Oh, and Victor tells Lauren that Sabrina passed his "test" of her regarding the rack full of designer clothes he had Lauren bring over. Sabrina made a stink and only chose one item from all of the things, an extremely expensive handbag. Lauren said something to Victor about what a smart cookie Sabrina is to have done that when so many women would have jumped at the chance to buy all of them as Victor had suggested.
Again, Sabrina's playing it very smart with her "mon cherie". snort.
