Hey guys, what are you all up to today. Today I have 2 interviews at 2 different job agencies. Not the kind of job I want but they will most likely pay more then a hotel would anyways.
Oh and an update on the dog that my sisters dog tried to eat. My sister saw the owner and the dog out yesterday walking. She said the dog was whimpering a little but had no bandages on, and get this...she still didn't have a leash on. So I don't know whats going on with that one. I kind of wondered if since the dog didn't have any bandages if the girl even took her to the vet.
So thats it here, still pushing on the diet...so I am trying to stay out of the house so that I dont eat.

Yesterday was grueling after 4 o'clock as my husband had a health emergency. He's okay now but it was very scary, and 6 hours in emergency doesn't do anybody's emotional well-being any good. I slept like a rock finally, after getting to bed at 2:30. Today he seems fine but a little short on energy.
I don't have anything planned today other than the usual - waiting for the backsplash. And it's still cold up here at 11 degrees. Lots of laundry, driving back and forth to the subway.
well one of the interviews was okay and the other one was really good. I think that one of the ladies interviewing was a little biased because she grew up a Navy Brat. They said I interviewed well. This isn't a hotel job but its a job and one that will allow me to sock away money and hopefully get a new car early next year. At 4+ dollars a gallon Vinnie is not buying another truck.
Its cloudy again out today, my sister is coming up this weekend and i really hope that the sun comes out. My and my sister are avid shot glass collectors and I think we are going to drive up to Maine, eat at Hooters and collect a bunch of shot glasses on the way. Should be a fun sight seeing trip too.
I am about to go eat and then go hit the gym. I figure I will try and burn off the coffee I got from Starbucks today.
Oh, KaeEll, I am SO sorry to hear about your husband's emergency. I'm glad to know that everything is okay, but these experiences certainly can be unnerving.
But, he's okay???

Well I was good I hit the gym. And I need to make a salad for church because they are having fried chicken and I don't want to undo all that work with something like store bought fried chicken.
Ted is SORT of alright, but has to go in for a battery of tests tomorrow. I'm leaving now to go pick him up. Silly guy insisted on going to the office today and I know he shouldn't have.
What happened with Ted, an accident or health issue?
My husband is upset at work they have fired about 89 people. Luckily his department is safe, but it just goes to show how crazy this economy is getting. Never thought it would affect a hospital in an affluent suburb!

I was out and about all day. Hit the clearance racks at Old Navy. Getting stuff for Fall, that I know I'll need anyway, so might as well get it super cheap. Seems like ages ago that I paid full price for anything!

Oh wow today was just plain wow. We wwere on the tucks with installers today. I got quite the work out. Went up and down a number of steps. I'm still plugging along on my diet as well. Monday and Tuesday weren't the best for me, but I worked out extra hard both days. I've DVRed some good pilates workouts and stuff. I am down I'd estimate one almost two sizes now. I got to ride with a pretty nice guy. Had some quiznos it is good good stuff.
Today is Cody's Birthday. My mom and I collaborated a surprise for him and she dropped off some balloons for him. Then we tok him for Taco Bell as a treat and ate at the park. Now we're home chilling out and when everyone is out and sleeping I'll do some more pilates. I have to admit that I actually enjoy this diet and exercise this time around. It's not really a chore or anything. Cody might be getting a wii. When I wen ton my ride alongs the guy we installed for told us that Toys R Us gets them in a lot and that they have some that will be put out on Friday at the earliest that go hand and hand with the wii fit package.
I might be getting a new car this week or the next. We saw a cute lil convertible with only 70 thousand miles on it and in amazing condition, only 2995. So wish me luck that it hasn't been bought. That'd be one heck of a birthday present!!!
