No holiday here, Jojo, just another Monday of the usual. Last weekend was our May long weekend and it was miserable weather here too, lol. We stayed inside but had the gang over for dinner, at least those who were in town.
I think Ted's going in for surgery at the end of the week. We'll both be really glad when this is all over.
Kae is the surgery related to his medical emergency yesterday? I sure hope that all is going well in that department.
Today, Sharon left and they headed home. We had a good weekend with them up here. I sure hope that our next home is closer to them. And today we had a cook out type thing with the church. It was nice. One of our elders managed to borrow one of those bouncy castles for the day and boy everyone sure had fun.
I'm having a medical crisis of my own at the moment. I'm waiting for blood results to come back to see if I have full blown diabetes. It hasn't been a fun wait. All we know at this moment is that my body is producing too much insulin, which is causing cysts on my ovaries. Sigh.
Thanks for the warm fuzzies. Yep, the surgery is directly related to the emergency last week - he needs a roto-rooter job done on his right carotid. Even though he has NO, as in zero, risk factors, he has plaque build up big time in the artery, and this is routine. Docs said it has to be genetic and just rotten luck. It's scary surgery, but I'm sure all will be okay in time.
Diabetes stinks, Jojo, but highly manageable, so best of luck to you, sweetie. Keep us posted, and good thoughts in your direction.
Aww Kae I'll keep Ted in mine as well and you too jojo. I started having a terrible tooth ache last night so wish me luck there. It's been rough. I've been so crabby because of it.
We went to the zoo yesterday had lots of fun. Sunday we went to my grandma's for a fish fry/cook out and Saturday I got my hair done.
Thanks all for the good wishes. Looks like he's now scheduled for the second week in June. At first they said "OH, right away", now they say it'll be 2 weeks. We just want it all to be over.
