So the best thing about Memorial Day is the short week it leaves us. I have little planned for today. Wanted to get my internet chatting in because when I start work next week I won't be able to chat during the day. I will become like Jojo and Jess and won't be able to pop in during the day.

Hi all! It's a beautiful Wednesday here in Toronto. I'm driving Ted to the subway in 10 minutes, then back home until 2, Linens and Things with Nick for some new sheets for the futon he bought - he's moving into Adam's condo tonight. After that, I babysit until it's time to pick up Ted again at the end of the day. Tony's in St. Louis until tomorrow, then NYC until Saturday. Poor d-i-l has been solo-ing it so much lately with my soon travelling around, but his business has popped big time. (Mother's bragging rights, lol.)
Shelly, Jess may well live within a short drive to your route. I know she lives in the southwest section of Illinois, near-ish Springfield. Ted's great great (great??) grandfather was Abraham Lincoln's next door neighbour in Springfield, Illinois. We have the chess set that they used every Sunday afternoon, a real treasure. When Candy (deceased doggie) was a pup, she chewed up one of the rooks. (File under useless information, lol.)

the only thing im doing different today opposed to any other day is taking care of a baby bird that iain rescued from his shop..i have no idea what im doing, or what to do with this poor lil guy lol, i think it just fell out of the nest in the rafters more than likely, but he cant fly but hops around real well lol
