I'm waiting for my coffee to finish bubbling down into the pot. Ted's gone back to bed - he was up a few hours ago for the day, then thought better of it. It creeps me out when he's in bed so late at 8:30, but he did his day in Ottawa yesterday and that usually whacks him out. The blood pressure meds he has to take now have made him so less energetic.
Anyway, we still have crummy weather here too. It's overcast and humid, not very warm.
Moore, Tony and Mike went to Space Camp too, the one in Huntsville, Alabama, and the one in Algonquin! Wouldn't it have been a hoot if they had met your son there and didn't even know it? But I think they're older by a few years, so not likely after all.
I'm taking the day off baby sitting, did over 7 hours so far this week while Tony was back in St. Louis. Not today!! Enough "nanny time" for one week. Ack.
Coffee's ready! What's up for today?
P.S. Remember that bathroom reno we started back in March? The contractor has yet again disappeared, no backsplash, no shower tiles, and he doesn't return my calls.
Well I just had another interview, this time with the Holiday Inn. So we shall see how that goes. Hopefully I will be off and working, this staying at home stuff is driving me nuts. At least during the school year I had classes to go to.I am a bit bored
I really have no plans for today, though I really need to go find the library. Maybe that will be my thing to do.
KaeEll, I think that we need to put a contract out on the contractor! LOL... It's absolutely RIDICULOUS for a bathroom project to take two months. Don't EVER ask this guy to build you a house... Don't these no-show people understand that they can NEVER ask you for a recommendation???
That's funny about the space camp. Our son went to the one in Alabama; he'll be 24 at the end of November, and I think that he may have been about thirteen when he was down there, although I wouldn't swear to it!
Jim and I are going to go out to dinner tonight since we had to cancel last night. There may be more rain coming, but probably not as bad as yesterday.
I have a lot of loose ends to address with the doll club today, which primarily entails making a bunch of phone calls, and some other stuff to prepare for our meeting next week. Arizona-daughter is coming home in mid July, briefly, but will also be going to NC to visit her older sister, and up to New York to visit a long-lost friend for a few days, so we may not get to see her much!
After this week, I need to address that front patio issue. Ugh...
I don't know -- time seems to become more and more compressed, and stressful lately. I don't quite understand it!
Shelly, we're keeping our fingers crossed for you!

I don't know what the deal is with this guy. Now that Nick has moved out, it's not an urgent matter any more, but that's hardly the point. I've been so caught up in Ted's health issues that it has taken a very back seat in my priorities. I can only obsess about one thing at a time, lol.
