Mag loft - all are pumped about the Katie photo shoot for the cover, but Jack and Nick disagree on the statement it will make. Phyllis and Sharon notice, whisper to each other.
Gloria at work at Lauren's boutique really screws up. Lauren is angry! Jill sees her through the window, gloats, calls Jeff to meet her in front of Fenmore's boutique. *snort*
Jill and Jeff taunt Gloria at the shop. Gloria tries her best to be pleasant. Funny expression on her face as you just KNOW she's going to snap.
Victor slags Nick to Adam on his business decisions, tells Sabrina he thinks Adam has learned from his mistakes, time to reward his younger son, give him a chance to shine. (Stupid Victor!!)
Strife at the magazine as Jack freaks at a heavily tattooed woman that is there to help with the cover shoot. The mag needs more advertisers, and he's afraid an edgy look will scare off a more mainstream, conservative big potential customer. Meanwhile, Victor smirks at Adam's suggestion that B of N not advertise in Nick's magazine again.
LOL, Gloria dumps hot coffee all over Jill (on purpose) at the boutique, costing her $2000 because now Lauren can't sell the stained blouse Jill was wearing. Gloria says it was worth it.
Amber, Kevin and Jana chatter excitedly at the loft as Jack continues to object to the "edginess" of Katie's cover. Sharon plays mediator, suggests they strike a balance, Phyllis chimes in too, in support of Nick.
Victor gives Adam the go-ahead to take B of N into the future, go green, rename it, it's his baby now, do what he wants with it. Adam's thrilled, Sabrina congratulates him.
Jill tells Kay about the hot coffee incident. Kay says it was all her fault for going there to torture Gloria in the first place (Kay is right, lol!!) Kay reminds Jill that Jeff LOVES Gloria, tries to comfort her daughter who may finally be getting it.
Jeff returns to the boutique to ask Gloria how she could sleep with that buffoon, Alistair. She says a woman's got NEEDS. He says he' hasn't "been" with Jill yet, but watch how fast that changes. (Shelly - spoiler says Gloria and Jeff remarry.)
Adam brings his ideas to Victor and Sabrina on B of N and the 3 of them toss ideas around. Adam wants to do this new project together as a learning experience. Victor likes the idea, "a family affair".
Amber tries to sneak some of her sketches to Katie but Phyllis stops her. Kind of silly. More Jack and Nick disagreements over conceptual approaches for Restless Style.
Lauren calls Kevin to come take care of his mother as she has had a disastrous first day at work, and off he and Jana go, leaving RS before Katie has her photos done.
Sharon saves the day with a brilliant compromise for Katie's cover look. Jack is really impressed!
sounds like an amusing show. And I hate that I feel this way but I can't help but root for Gloria in this whole Jeffrey/Jill thing. Jill really can be annoying. Love Kay though.

Adam notices Sabrina is really emotional, sits down with her, talks about the argument Victor had with Niki in front of them. Interesting conversation! Good scene, and I think it's going to be more important as Sabrina's spell on Victor crumbles soon after they marry (according to spoilers). Don't miss this one!
Jeff takes Jill a silk scarf as an apology present. Jill's reluctant at first, but Jeff coaxes her and she falls for it.

Sabrina asks Victor if he gave Adam B of N to punish Victoria for not coming to their wedding. No, he claims, strictly business. (Bah! How stupid AGAIN!)
The magazine loses another ad potential. Bad news. Jack blames Nick and his young rock star on the cover and the arguments continue. Nick digs in his heels, refuses to allow Jack to redo the cover. Jack's also resolved to have it his way. Big Trouble!!

If Jeff and Gloria would stop all the nonsense and be honest with each other for a change, this whole silly mess would resolve itself. I can not believe two people in their sixties could be so childish!! And that goes for Victor as well. What he is doing to Victoria and Nick is despicable. Of course it's all personal with Victor. His "strictly business" line is such a crock!
Shelly, I don't think we'll have to suffer through much more of Sabrina. I am interested, though, to see what it is she does that gets her booted out.
at least with Victor we expect him to act the way he does. I just never realized how much Eric Braden has aged until they paired him with the woman who plays Sabrina. I mean Sharon is a lot younger then Jack but Peter Bergman ages incredibly well.
I think EB is still a nice looking man, but he should ask not to be paired with a love interest so young. He's 67 and looks it, nothing wrong with that, but let him play his age with dignity. There isn't anything dignified about sleeping with your daughter's contemporary, IMHO.
Sharon Case and Peter Bergman are about 15 or so years apart in age, non? They do look good together though. PB still has a youthfulness to his face. Lucky genes, probably.
I agree that EB still looks good. I mean until they put him with such a younger man I would have never noticed that he has aged at all. Actually until this year I guess I would have roped him with PB in that he has aged well. He certainly looks his age, doesn't look older. I agree with you that the actor should have enough clout about who is acting partners should be.

I'm thinking Sabrina's mother (remember, Sabrina didn't want Victor to get in touch with her, said they had been estranged for years) will be part of the reason Victor loses his lurve for her. Maybe the mother and daughter were estranged for good reason. Maybe she wants to move into the ranch with her daughter, cause all sorts of problems for Victor's new family? The preview of Sabrina telling Victor she had lied to him? Betcha it's about her mother.
There was this little scene today with Adam and Sabrina that I didn't recap. (I was too busy listening to them.) Adam and Sabrina were analysing Victor's treatment of Nick, Niki and Victoria. Sabrina said she thought it was because Victor grew up without love, so he treats his loved ones coldly in return. Adam was puzzled why his own mother never had one single negative thing to say about Victor. How could that have been they wondered. It was like a foreboding of things to come for the both of them. It was an interesting scene. Please give me your take on it when you see it tomorrow.
I will make sure I set the DVR so that I can watch tomorrows show. I am so glad that I have someone else in here who watches the same soap I do. Soaps are better when you can talk about them
It was kind of an odd scene. I still often wonder if these two knew each other at one point, or of each other anyways. It very well could have been a sign of things to come. Like all these people who keep bringing up Dru.
I have to say that Jack kind of irked me today. I thought the rocker girl was cute, and the dress thing Sharon came up with was super cute
