Phyllis begs off sick from Jack and Sharon's big pool RS party. Nick will take over the schmoozing detail for her. Amber enters and confronts Phyllis about leaving the picture of Daniel cheating on her on the computer. Phyllis doesn't like getting confronted like that, declares her dislike of Amber.
Victoria and JT are enjoying the Newman pool sans Victor and Sabrina who are supposed to be out of town, invite Nick and Phyllis over, Adam and Heather too are going to be there. Oops, Sabrina calls off their trip to Boston, sick stomach just like Phyllis and Jill. Nick agrees to drop in before the RS party.
LOL, Michael and Gloria are at the RS pool party, UNinvited. Jack and Sharon are mortified. Seems Gloria invited her whole family. Jack very reluctantly tells the Fisher Baldwins they can stay, ticks off Sharon.
Chloe crashes J&S's party too, following Cane like a puppy. Blech.
Victor and Sabrina crash the younger Newman's get together. Victor calls Adam on "defying his orders not to bring THAT WOMAN into this house". Eyebrows shoot up all around. Victor goes all authoritative, completely ruins everyone's good mood. Good scene!! Adam holds his own well enough, but he and Heather decide to leave. Sabrina follows Victor back into the house.
Sabrina appeals to Victor to take this opportunity to help the family heal before their baby comes.
Gloria takes over the pool party, loud bug spraying, raucous voice - funny. Lauren and Michael get the news of her remarriage to Jeff.
Sharon is furious with Jack for letting Gloria stay without talking to her, and for taking over Nick and Phyllis' schmoozing duties. Never seen her this pissed off with Jack before! He says some decisions can not be made by committee and leaves the room. Sharon steams.
Amber tells Jana about Daniel's cheating on her. And she's knocking back vodka like mad! Colleen arrives at the RS party, sees Amber and Adrian clinking glasses. Scowl.
Jack's on the phone with someone who has dirt on Sabrina Newman, wants the person to make sure the info is bulletproof so they can use it in the article and for the person to get back to HIM, not his partners.
Jana sees that Amber is getting very drunk, hauls her aside, tried to tell her she and Daniel love each other. Amber says she needs someone to pay attention to her, eyes Adrian, Jana says OH NOT him. Adrian has an unpleasant encounter with an icy cold Colleen. He then heads right over to Amber for comfort.
Chloe plays with Fisher, the dog, intentionally wanting to look good as Cane is in the doorway. He bites, goes over to her.
Gloria plays hostess at the party. Gah. Funny scene with Lauren, Michael and Gloria.
Heather advises Adam to apologise to his father. Nice conversation.
Back at the Newman ranch, Victor continues on his power trip with Nick regarding the article on Sabrina and his right to veto it, blah, blah. Victoria puts Sabrina in her place regarding the gala plans. Good one!!
As Victoria and JT chuckle about Victor's need for an anger management course, they spy him holding little Reed and smile. Sabrina sees too, grins to self. (My take on that is that she figures soon enough HER baby will replace Victoria and JT's as the object of Victor's affection.)
Victoria is uncomfortable when Sabrina holds Reed, takes him back in her arms. Another good scene.
Cane's impressed by Chloe's sales pitch to Jack re Lily on a future RS cover.
Oops, Nick arrives at the RS party just in time to watch Jack act like the solitary big shot at the magazine. He's not pleased. Another unpleasant encounter follows between Nick and Jack.
Jana watches as Adrian and Amber leave the party together. Colleen sees them to and POUTS big time!! She's really ticked off by it.
Chloe fakes a bee sting to draw Cane back to the party as he was leaving, cons him into taking her home. Car won't go, phones out of service. She's very pleased with herself.

Back at RS office, Amber and Adrian continue drinking, all alone. Both are very drunk. KISS.
Adam visits Victor, wants to talk. Yipes!! Victor warns him never to forget who HE (Victor ) is, and who he, Adam, is, and if he does, he'll be very sorry. Horrible!! The V stalks off leaving Adam standing there.
Nick and Jack have another bad confrontation. Sharon nails Jack for only giving lip service to partnership, walks off.
Jack's source calls, confirms the dirt on Sabrina is rock solid - she was involved in a scandal. Happy Jack!

Nick says to Jack as he hangs up the phone, "That was a Phillipe Chandreau, an ex-boyfriend of Sabrina".
Phyllis confronts Amber about spending the night in the RS office with Adrian.
Victoria asks Sabrina if he knows she had an affair with Phillipe. Sabrina, stutters, wants to know why Victoria is asking her all that.
This episode was LOADED! A really, really good one!!
I'm loving Adam too, NOW, not before though!! He was so good today, too. One minute he's planning on moving out of the ranch, then Heather convinces him to go talk to his father, and he does, but gets this really horrible lecture from Victor. His face was priceless.
