I got an update on my cousin, she is moving out of ICU. Had some problems with blood clots and strokes, so keep her in your prayers
I've got some errands today because of that party my husband is having, I have to fix up little things in the house.
I made a nice reading corner for myself last night. Reading in bed was not working
Hope everyone has a Sunny Day!
Hey Tess, hope you stop in more often
And I hope I get time to watch my shows, I meant to catch them last night then got busy! damn I hate when I get in the middle of something and lose track of time
Good morning everyone. YAH its Wednesday. You know what that means, only 2 more days til the weekend. And only 2 more days til I drive down to MD to pick up my niece and see my sister. YAH..Anyways, whats new everyone. Anything at all. Tess I agree with Tina. It has been nice to see you more lately. Hope with your little mini vacation we will see you. I know you aren't digging ABC soaps and honestly I can't blame you, you should check out Y&R so me and kae have someone else to talk to. Though I think that as far as soaps go Y&R gets the most conversation. Amusing, don't you think kae?
Anyways, last night I watched Army Wives from Sunday and have to say that aside from a few actors/actresses no one on that show can act. But it still made me sad. The end had me in tears. Sometimes I think I am way to emotional. Also watched the show on the food network called The next Food Network Star. They booted off the kid that I liked. Last night was catch up night. My DVR is now empty.
Anyways, I need to write a blog. Anyone have any ideas.
We had a huge and violent electric storm here last night around 8. Water was pouring down in sheets, and yep, we got more water in Nick's bedroom. The waterproofers can't come to do that side of the house until early September. Tony, bless his heart, came right over once he got the kids to bed and took over the shop vac duties, but here I am again with every towel in the house in the dryer. *sigh* My poor dogwood bushes didn't fare too well - this morning they are all slumped down in a sad heap. Geez, we've been getting such severe weather all over North America lately. Crazy. We lost power too, fortunately, it didn't last long. Apparently the crane at a building site just north of my parents was hit by lightning, knocked out a transformer.
Today's another routine, quiet day. Ted's home for the morning, working downstairs. I'll watch Y&R live at 11, make him some lunch, and off he'll go again in my car for meetings at his office downtown. He really likes driving my gas guzzler, lol. At $1.38 a liter for gas, he had better!!
This coming Sunday we're having a birthday party here for Chloe and Champ (doggies), both turned 7 a couple of weeks ago. It's just an excuse for a get-together and for me to cook that leg of lamb I've had in the freezer since Easter.
Tina, that party your husband is hosting for your birthday sounds like just more work for you! It had better be worth it for you, hun. Remember to post some pictures of it after the fact.
Anyways, I need to write a blog. Anyone have any ideas.
Shelly, you could write about your trip to see Sharon and her daughter, your up-coming trip back to Arizona, and what you like and dislike about Groton.
I agree, it would be fun to have another person to talk to about Y&R, lol. The only things that ever spring to my mind about OLTL are nasty snipes now, and nobody needs that!
Oh no - I have the local news station on TV and a man was killed by lightening in a park last night. Poor guy sought shelter under a tree.
