Adrian needs to be convinced to go to Australia - great opportunity, he admits. Daniel's still seething over Amber and Adrian.
Jeff announces the cream's gone. Gloria speculates he's lying, but no, he loves her, why lie?
Sabrina went ahead and kept the appointment at the Colonnade Room without Victoria, pissing her off.
Nikki's trying to talk David into meeting with Nick, Victoria, Jack - re RS and Jabot sponsoring the gala this year.
Victoria accuses Sabrina of running roughshod over her regarding the gala's decisions.
Jeff figures out Keon (his ex) took the cream, has to get it back from her. Funny.
RS has been printed, will hit the newstands tomorrow morning. Adrian says he can't leave before he sees the magazine, so declines the trip to Oz. Nervous Jack.
Daniel asks Adrian how was it (with Amber). Dagger stares.
Adrian tries to talk to Daniel about the mistake he and Amber made. Good Adrian! Daniel's being an ass. Nick sends a tearful Amber home for the rest of the day.
Victoria's shocked that Sabrina went with all of Victoria's ideas for the gala. They kind of agree to stop the war between them.
Gloria makes a big deal out of Jeff going to Korea, says she'll be the one to go get the cream.
Nick loves the idea of Jabot and RS co-sponsoring the gala, but only without David. Nikki defends her husband AGAIN, begs Nick to give David a chance. Nick says he won't let that guy walk all over her.
Michael agrees with Jeff that Gloria shouldn't be the one to go to Korea. It's settled, Jeff will go.
Walter calls David about "the job", David stalls, says later.
Nick and his mother argue about David. Nick makes very good points, says his mother is in denial, doesn't believe she's all that "in love" with her husband. Huffy Nikki.
Jack and David discuss co-sponsoring the gala and Jack says he likes the idea but doesn't want to work with David. David asks for a second chance, Jack sort of takes that into consideration.
Filler memories of how Daniel and Amber first got together.
Daniel tells Kevin about Amber and Korbell. He asks Kevin if he can move in with him and Jana for a while. Kevin tries to talk some sense into his friend, maybe got through to him.
Adrian knocks on Amber's door - she forgot her phone at the office and he was asked to bring it to her. She's sobbing. She begs him to take that trip to Australia, do it for her, please.
Sabrina and Victoria, slightly kinder.
More Nick and his mother. Nick makes perfect sense regarding David, angers Nikki, then David and Jack arrive just as Nick was about to leave. All agree to join up for the fund raiser. Nikki grovels again with David. Ugh.
Funny Jeff, Michael and Gloria scene. Nothing much, but funny.
Adrian agrees to go to Oz, Amber hugs him thank you, thank you, in walks Daniel.
Jeff's booked on the next flight to Soeul. Nice scene with him and Gloria - he's giving her back her free will.
Nick says the only way they could tolerate David as point man for the fund raiser is to install failsafe conditions so he can't walk off with the money. Nikki bristles.
Daniel packs up clothes, argues with Amber. He won't listen to anything from her. Slam. More sobbing.
Next:
Sabrina tells Victor that this isn't the article that Adrian showed them.
Sharon's angry with Jack for doing a hatchet job on Sabrina. He says he had to make sure the issue got attention.
Phyllis asks Daniel if he's uncomfortable having Amber there (at RS). He replies that if she fires her, he will never speak to her (Phyllis) again.
I am kind of sad about Amber and Daniel but if I remember her and Adrian had chemistry too. Besides it would serve Colleen right if Adrian got involved with another woman so soon.
It is kind of sad, but Daniel's acting like a hot headed brat over this. He really needs to think more carefully about it, take into consideration what his mother did and Amber's insecurities. It was the Restless Amber thing that stopped her from joining Kevin for that visit - Phyllis was behind that too. I usually like Phyllis, but not what she's doing to her son.
Nick is really shining the past couple of episodes. I love that he's so right about David and hits the nail on the head about his mother's denial and why she thinks she loves David. Those were good scenes.
I am liking Nick more and more these days. Though with both Phyllis and Jack doing the evil dance I worry about good Nick and good Sharon. I, like you, don't want to see that again. Not soon anyways
