Good morning everyone! We are in a wonderful weather phase here, thank goodness. My home projects are progressing along. I installed the new floor in the hallway yesterday, and guess what???? I hate it! I know, typical woman....
Today's main focus will be picking out new rugs for my bedroom, one of the spare bedrooms, and the hallway. I want it installed by Friday. Thank goodness I only did the hallway, before I realized that I hate it. I have been converted back to a rug person.
The replacing of the doors and woodwork in the hallway is still on track. I stained the new trim wood yesterday.
Tess you are so busy. I wish I had have of the motivation you do, if I did I would be skinny. Anyways, today I am at work. 2 more days until I get time off and the long drive back home. My niece lost her DS game so that's not good at all. Hopefully she will be able to find it before we leave, I think that with both kids having a video game to play with they will be okay.
So today is a big day on GH as two of my favorite people on the show finally do the deed. Should make for really good soap.
LOL, Tess. Give the hardwood floors a chance to grow on you before you give up on them. You can always put areas rugs down on top. The hardwood is a really good investment.
Today is quiet. Yesterday I was supposed to have tea with my d-i-l and visit with the kids, but when I arrived there at 3:30, she announced that she had to rush little Quentin to emergency. Apparently, a rather heavy toy found it's way airborne and landed on the little guy's head while he was nursing and gave him quite the goose egg on his noggin. I was there babysitting Vanessa for 4 hours. Quentin is perfectly fine. Then I had to come home and cook Ted some dinner. I wonder how that toy found it's way onto baby brother's head. Hmmm.
We need a landscaper to do some work, and nobody seems interested in it. How is it that people don't want work?????? I'm giving it a rest until after lunch, then I'll go at it again. Frustrating as heck.
Mike flew down to join Tony for the work week and was shuttled around for 12 hours from one airport to another. What's going on in the airline industry? Flights are overbooked, then cancelled left and right. It was so late by the time he arrived, the work day was over. Crazy. Nick's holding the fort for Fieldco at the home office here.
It's a beautiful day now, supposed to go up to the high 20's by noon, low humidity = good hair day, lol.
Yes I will be in touch, obviously won't be on as often as i am now. But will definitely pop in and will post pictures on myspace and maybe over here too
