Everyone is gathering for the funeral. Karen notices Tyra is moving in on Neil. Devon uses the untimely death of such a young woman as an opportunity to promote a carpe diem attitude regarding his music.
Phyllis tells Nick there might be a way out of the magazine mess, sell to Jack. Nick feels it would be a sell-out.
Paul has a huge lead on Michael's father - he was arrested and is in jail. (But is it really Lowell? Didn't he switch ID's with a buddy way back when?) Lauren suggests Michael might not benefit from meeting his father, Kevin thinks he ought to go ahead with it
Nikki says goodbye to her kids and their spouses as they leave for the church, but she's NOT doing well emotionally. In comes Paul. "Looks like you could use a friend."
Victor's still hanging around the ranch in his jeans, fixated on the computer. Adam tries to get him to come along with him to the service but he'd rather be alone. Daniel turns up with his sketch of Sabrina for Victor. V dismisses him without so much as a howdy'do, calls him Mr. Romalotti, lol. He doesn't even look at the drawing.
Ana and Devon sing a short song they wrote for Neil, Tyra and Karen. (I could have lived without that, lol.) Tyra's pissed off that Karen and Neil leave together for the service, makes an unkind remark about Karen to Ana.
At the church, Jill and Kay argue again about Nikki and Jabot. Enter Brad, gets a chuckle out of Jill that he's there at all, snipes exchanged.
Nick encourages Victoria to keep on telling their father that he has HER, not all alone. Newman kids aghast when they see Brad, speculate on his ulterior motives for being there at all. Nick says he won't give up the magazine to jack.
Lauren and Kevin discuss pros and cons of Michael meeting Lowell.
OMG! Adam blames Nick, Victoria and Nikki for bringing David Chow into their lives, for Skye's death etc. He then goes on to castigate the bunch of them. Nasty encounter. Ugh.
Paul tells Nikki about Skye, looks like David was responsible. Then David's ashes are delivered.
Random gallery owner approaches Daniel at the church, gives him his card, says he'd like to show his work.
Lauren whispers to Michael that he should go see his father. Still no sign of Victor.
Victoria asks Jill to encourage her mother to return to work. Jill says nope, Nikki brought Chow to Jabot and that's the reason Jabot is in such turmoil now. Victoria says if her mother isn't going to return to Jabot, then neither will she. Jill says "suit yourself", turns and walks away.
Neil and Karen arrive. Karen comments she's surprised Neil wanted her to come there at all when he thanks her for coming with him. Her reservations are because of her support of Devon and his music.
Nikki's falling apart over everything David did. Paul tries to comfort her.
ICK! The pastor appears in the jam-packed church, asks what's going on. He tells everyone that Victor cancelled the funeral, buried Sabrina privately this morning. (That sent a chill up my back.)
eeks, I think I will prefer the angry Victor over this sad stuff...But seriously how is it Nick and Victoria's fault.
Adam said they are their mother's children, chips off the old block. It was really awful! What drives me nuts is that nobody seems to remember that it was Victor that gave David a job in GC. Nikki just hired him after the fact that he was already there and ensconced.
Adam, Nick, Phyllis, Victoria look for Victor - no sign of him. Adam and Nick start a tussle. Adam's being a real a$$. Looks like Victor has left town altogether.
Neil and Karen disagree about Tyra and Ana.
Paul leaves Nikki, but again, she's in a state, looks at the decanters of alcohol on the sideboard.

And about Adam, SOD says he is going to reclaim his name and start going by Victor Junior. I don't think I like this dark side of him at all. And your right about Victor, he brought David to town to work with Jack on his campaign. The one that Victor was all fully intending on sabotaging.

Yes, good day today. The Winters are front and centre - Tyra moving in on Neil and Karen's onto it. NOOOO! More kids singing. Gah and yech. Roxanne is there. NOOOO, MORE singing.
Montage of Mike and Kevin, Daniel looking at his phone, lots of calls from Amber. Victoria looks kindly on Adam who is in tears over Skye (no sign of Heather today), Kay looking for Nikki at JT and Victoria's house. Nikki is at the stables dumping David's ashes on Athena's old stall. Victor boards a public bus, flashback to him at Sabrina's grave, all shown with this sad and sappy song Ana sang for Karen.

Paul and Neil have to break up a shoving and shouting match between Adam and Nick, yelling about family and father. (And I was starting to really like Adam, but not any more! He's taken on too many of Victor's worst characteristics.)
Yes, he is to be Michael's father. That's why I said that the guy Michael saw in prison was NOT Michael Gross, (I think that's the actor's name from Family Ties). I read a spoiler that said Lowell Baldwin and a friend switched ID's years earlier and the man imprisoned is not Michael's father but the switcheroo guy.
Best scene of the day goes to Adam's tirade to Nick, Phyllis, JT and Victoria at the non-funeral. It was really chilling, as was the announcement the minister made about the cancelled funeral service. Other than my complaints about that kid Ana ( who really, really bugs me) and Devon singing, Y&R has gotten so good in the last few weeks.
