Sharon and Jack at RS getting ready for a photo shoot. Phyllis set it all up, booked some celebrity for it. Jack is determined to go ahead with the Chow article despite the reactions Nikki and Nick will have. Meanwhile, Victor's in Mexico speaking to the bartender, chit chat. No news from him back in GC.
Jana runs the details of her wedding by Amber who's fussing about the bachelorette party for her.
Daniel and Kevin talk about how cool Sabrina was and thankful that she set up the gallery guy from NYC for him. Colleen and Daniel plan their date together for tonight.
GLORIA's back! She and Jeff suck on martinis, decide to attend the shareholders meeting at Jabot tonight. Kay and Jill butt heads again over appointing Cane as CEO. Kay believes it's a mistake. Cane enters, tells Jill he doesn't think he's the right person for the job. (At least HE's got half a brain today, lol.)
Sharon hugs Nick who is worried about his father. Jack congratulates Phyllis on the good job for the photo shoot. Phyllis thinks he's buttering her up for some reason. Still plenty of tension at RS among the 4.
Chloe tells Amber that Cane is officially the daddy.
TRACI!! She hugs Brad hello, says Ashley gave her her proxy for the meeting.
Jill talks Cane into taking the job. "Please, do this for me. You're the only one I can trust."
Jana and Kevin ask the Ouija board if they'll live happily ever after and it says "goodbye". Glum Jana.
Daniel and Amber have a strained conversation. Nothing really.
Phyllis is a bitch to Sharon who does her best to keep from lashing back. Good Sharon!!
Now it's Jill's turn to be nasty - she sees Gloria and Jeff in the lobby waiting for the meeting, lol. Oh, and Gloria's been fired as receptionist.
Brad and Traci - he asks for her support in him being CEO of Jabot. The meeting begins with Jill chairing. She announces Cane Ashby, her son, as new CEO. Polite golf clapping. Pissed off Brad. She asks Cane to say a few words. "I am honoured and humbled, blah, blah." Brad gets up and leaves the room, makes a call. "Meet me at CL, now."
Nick's back at the ranch, calls around, Noah's back. He looks like he's about 15 years old.
, thanks, Shelly!! I could watch it! That Chloe's a heap and a half of trouble, lol.
BTW, Cane's speech at the board meeting was awful. Talk about a duck out of water!! He's about as CEO-y as I am, lol. Jill made a big deal out of his loyalty and that's what swayed him to take the job, but honestly, it's a huge mistake.
Nick and Noah chat, then back to Victor mumbling in Spanish to the bartender. He's knocking back shot after shot.
More Sharon and Phyllis disagreeing about the shoot. Chloe and Amber blech.
Jack meets Brad at CL. Brad gives Jack a file, who says if he prints this, it'll blow Jabot's power structure sky high. Brad nods in agreement.
Phyllis tells Amber that even though her 6 month prepaid lease is up, she'll let her and Daniel stay on there. Amber tells her that Daniel broke it off with her, so Phyllis says she has 72 hours to get out.
Finally, Sharon lets Phyllis have it in a gentle but powerful way. Good scene! (And I like both of the characters, but Phyllis was a little over the top today in needling Sharon about her relationship with Jack, Phyllis kept saying that Sharon was nothing more than Jack's puppet. Sharon kept her cool throughout all of it, then this last little scene. Good stuff.)
Kevin catches Daniel ogling Colleen. He says they have a date tonight. He's going to pick her up in an hour. Traci greets Colleen, big surprise. Hugs, but she (Colleen) has to go.
Traci joins Brad and Jack on the CL patio, hugs. Traci says how sickening it was to hear Cane talking about Jabot at the stockholders' meeting.
Gloria's in a pout. She and Jeff don't yet have enough stock to throw Jill out of Jabot. She eyes Jack and Traci talking warmly, has an idea.
Kay tells Cane that Phillip would have been a wonderful father to him. Cane brings up his Uncle Langley. Kay thinks it's absurd for Cane to marry Chloe just for the sake of the child. He doesn't have to marry a woman he doesn't even like to be a good father.
Phyllis tells Daniel that she is a very happy, happy woman today because Amber told her they broke up. She then tells Daniel Amber's evicted, so Daniel can live at the penthouse, rent free. Daniel's appalled. (Poor Phyllis really doesn't have a clue about mothering, lol. She just keeps getting worse and worse with Daniel!!)
Jeff and Gloria tell Jack they have been buying Jabot stocks, but not enough to take over, However, they WOULD if they combined what they own with Jack's and he could get back in there and call the shots again, not as CEO (can't because of court order) but in a different position way up there. Jack's seriously taken with he idea. J&G leave, enter Sharon, says she's on his side (Jack's). In comes Noah, hugs his mother hello. Joy, joy.
Cane swears to Kay he'll never take a drink again, but he is seriously considering marrying Chloe, otherwise how can he ever be sure he'll be a part of his baby's life.
Bachelorette party at Indigo. Chloe, Jana and Amber clink glasses, in walk Daniel with Colleen on his arm. Amber's face falls.
Back at the Mexican bar, the bartender tells Victor that the man he is looking for is at the beach hotel. Victor nods, pays a whack of money and leaves.
