Neil tells Tyra that Devon and Ana need to know the truth about being siblings. She has "her reasons" for not telling them yet. Cane and Lily are miserable apart. (Nice kitchen at Cane's house!!!)
The Fisher Baldwin group arrive at the Ashram. Little Fenmore didn't travel with his mom and dad - home sick with a sitter. An old hippie gives them the tour and rattles off a bunch of rules. Funny-ish. Gloria's so gauche, lol.
Back in the Mexican bar, Victor tells the bartender to mind his own business when he's asked if he found the man he was looking for, tells little girl that he doesn't have any family at all now.
Neil, Nikki, Nick and Victoria assemble at Indigo for a meeting. Neil and Nikki hatched a plan to protect NE while Victor is away and want the kids' cooperation. Sure, of course. Neil's called an emergency board meeting of NE for this afternoon. In the meantime, Nikki and Neil have decided to name Victoria head of NE as Neil has reasons for it not to be him at this time. (Remember that Neil can not stand Adam, lol.)
Lily angst over Cane, Cane angst over Lily. Filler....lots of it. Chloe orders $500 jeans in a maternity size, gloats on the phone that she's expecting an heir to the Chancellor estate.
Back at the Ashram, Lowell Baldwin arrives as the spiritual leader, the guru who will marry the happy couple. Gloria hasn't seen him yet, and no one else has a clue who he really is yet either.
Daniel and Amber chat, get along very well. Cute scene. An almost kiss but Colleen interrupts as she arrives late. Colleen gloms onto Daniel, upsets Amber.
Neil, Nikki, Victoria and Nick all agree it will be great to see Adam's face when he hears the news about Victoria heading the company; Neil adds that there won't be a damn thing he (Adam) can do about it.
Lily's settled back at the flat she and Devon rent from Jack, tells her father and Devon Cane needs to be there for his child. Cane contemplates Kay's words to him about not giving up his happiness to be a father, then Lily's rant about the importance of being with his baby, marrying Chloe. (groan) Geez, tons of flashbacks today.
Everyone at the Ashram is dressing up like old hippies - funny. Michael's in a terrible funk over his father being a wanted criminal.
Jana tries to cheer up Amber, tells her that she, NOT Colleen, is the one Daniel wants. (Jana is right, again, Colleen is using Daniel to piss off and hurt Amber - really obvious.)
Victor plays a card trick game with the little Mexican girl, says she looks like his daughter. (Kind of mixed messages here, eh?)
All assemble for the NE board meeting. Adam demands to know what the hell is going on here, why wasn't he told about this, everyone knows HE is running things around here. Victoria says "say hello to your new boss". Adam gulps, smiles weakly.
LOL, Kevin's wearing a Nehru jacket, Michael a tunic from the 60's and love beads. Nice exchange between the brothers. Hug. All set for the wedding now. More cute stuff as Jana tells Kevin he can wear whatever he likes, and he whips off that jacket - cute.
Cane tells Chloe that they have to get married. ( WTH!!! Now I'm really ticked off with this dumb story. )
Neil tells Tyra about how he found out that Malcolm fathered Lily, not him, and it was the ruination of his family, changed their lives forever. Tyra has to tell Ana the whole truth about Yolanda, blah, blah, blah. Devon overhears snippets, asks to be told what they're talking about.
Cane invites Chloe to move in o the guest room at his house, marry him, she accepts. Giggles and wiggles from Chloe who wants to know the karat weight of the ring he put on her finger. Cane says they'll lead separate lives except for the care of the child, walks away after he says "it is now official".
Adam barges into the office where Nick, Nikki, JT and Victoria are discussing her new position, huffs and puffs, they disagree, and he stomps off after Victoria says she won't fire him because he knows too much about the business and could hurt NE, but she wants him to pack his things and get out of the ranch. He refuses, says she can't do that. She replies "we'll see about that". Nikki wishes her daughter good luck. Smug smiles form all the Newman's as Adam leaves in a huff.
Paul stops Nikki with news of Victor - from a bus driver, looked at the surveillance tape, guesses that Victor was headed to Mexico.
Walter orders tequila from Victor's bartender, Victor spies as he's hidden in a corner.
Back at the Ashram, Gloria seems to be slightly high from brownies they were fed by the guru's assistant. The wedding is about to take place. Enter Jana on Michael's arm. Lovely exchange, they continue down the aisle. Fun flute and sitar music. Lowell Baldwin begins the ceremony. Gloria sees him, calls out his name. Stunned faces!!!
Next:
Chloe arrives, bag and baggage, to move into Cane's house. He doesn't look too thrilled.
Kevin and Jana get married. Michael looks on, grinning, proud. Sweet!
Michael confronts Lowell, says "I am a lawyer, you are on the run from the law. I have a legal responsibility to turn you in".
Good for VI!! His David Chow role was written into a corner,so it's best he's gone from Y&R now. I wish they had given him an out by having him as an undercover good guy so he could stick around, but as a serial killer, not much they could have done with him but kill him off.
And yeah, I love what's happening to Adam right now. He was WAY too big for his britches and needed a little reality check, lol. Nick and Victoria need to be really careful, though. Kicking him off the ranch was too extreme. Victor will not be pleased with that!
Love that Paul and JT found Victor before the FBI guys did too. I like Paul.:)
