We haven't had a daily thread in a few days so here's one for Wednesday, August 27. What's up today with everyone here?

I've got the somewhat usual routine today. My clothes dryer was on ALL night, so time to call the Maytag repair guy. I've been trying to use the dryer as late into the evening as possible to cut down on prime time electricity use, so I dumped the laundry in last night around ten and the damn thing went on all night long. Poor socks look a little the worse for wear. lol. So much for conservation of energy.

YAH, I love Wednesdays. It means that my week is almost over. Although at this point I am not sure whether I will still have a job next week. Our contract expires on Tuesday and I haven't gotten word on the renewal yet. Its a little stressful.

Today I am starting my weight loss trek again. I haven't given up soda yet but I gave up my coffee yesterday. I figure that my soda has sodium in it, the coffee has calories. So I gave up the coffee and am drinking more water to flush out the sodium. As soon as I am not dependent on the caffeine from no coffee I will stop the soda thing. Sometimes I want to kick myself. The last time I gave up soda it lasted several months. I can't even think now why I gave up. I swear drinking soda to me is like giving up alcohol for some people. Its a bad addiction.

Anyways, I am pretty busy today. I have spent the last week trying to figure out how to get the bible verse on the board for church. Its a long verse and I have tried stenciling it several times but could never get it to look the way I want. I think I am going to attempt to write it using glue and then putting glitter on it. That should look cool huh?

we're getting into a back-to-school schedule. Boys out the door with their lunches, bags and signed forms. Got their shoes and clothes lined up. Or boys being boys, they'd be running late

Gabi and I have been running errands mostly, also working in some at-home preschooling here and there.

She's got her little pc next to mine, she plays playhouse Disney, Nick Jr. and some other educational type games!

Got caught up with clothes, socks and shoes for Fall!

Got myself 3 pairs of shoes yesterday. I could not pick between two pairs of sketchers, so I got both.

I probably should just blog all this.... weirdface.gif
