Good thing I've got a rewind button, lol. I was more interested in reading posts here than watching the soap. Anyway, here we go...
Sharon isn't very happy that Jack made the "black hole" comment about Victor. Small argument between them. She asks what has happened to them, that they have sold their souls to the devil, using the magazine against one another like a weapon, and when is it going to end. Jack says it isn't.
Jill hears from Chloe and Cane that they are married. Chloe's very pleased when Jill says no engagement party, now a wedding reception.
Adam hires Brad!! Really, really good scene!! CEO, 3 year contract. Very Godfather-ish. Goosebumps, chills.
Cane and Chloe reluctantly agree with Jill that their big reception party will be tomorrow. (Chloe feigned reluctance for Cane's sake. She's thrilled, actually, lol.)
JT, Victoria, Paul, Nick and Phyllis worry about Nikki. Paul wants to go back down to Mexico to take care of Nikki. Nick and Victoria don't accept that their father is gone.
Eek, Jack wants to go ahead with the death of Victor Newman story. He has a sort of compelling rationale, Sharon begins to agree, a little bit, maybe.
Jill's hopping mad about the expose in RS. She figures Bradley leaked the juicy tidbits, and she storms off to find him. Kay hollers at her that the article puts Jabot in even more serious trouble.
Adam and Brad. You can see Brad's gears spinning as he completely snows Adam. Good scene again!!
Nick and Victoria both hold out hope that Victor is alive. Morose scene. Nikki has her phone turned off, no contact possible.
Heather's out of hospital, tells Paul she's fine - low red blood count due to stress. Paul's about to leave for Mexico but offers to stay if she needs him. No, go ahead, I'm fine.
JT says he found signs of hacking on Nick's computer - Jack looking for info on Victor. In comes Jill, fuming about the RS article citing her as irresponsible.
Sharon tells Jack that no matter what he says about writing about Victor in a glowing light, he'll end up sensationalizing it to sell magazines, that he can't stop himself. Jack seems pretty unfazed by Sharon's rant.
Can's angry with Chloe for upsetting his mother by giving her the mag article. Snipes and bickers.
More Jack and Sharon disagreeing about the magazine and in waltzes Brad to thank Jack for his Jabot article, then drops the bomb that he's the new CEO of NE. Jack's speechless and amused!!
Phyllis keeps a close eye on Sharon as she offers hugs and help to Nick over the Victor business.
Victoria confronts Adam. GOOD SCENE!! He fires her. (This is a really good epi, Shelly!! I really do have goosebumps.)
Back to Paul giving Heather advice, to slow things down with Adam a little., he doesn't trust him. Naturally, Heather knows better than her father and pooh-poohs it.
Adam tells Victoria that he hired Brad. She lets him have it but Adam doesn't let her get anywhere with him. (Arrogant little dick, lol.)
Brad's smug as a snake when Jill fires him, shocks the heck out of her with his NE news. Jill says she's going to sue the pants off of him over his confidentiality agreement with Jabot. Brad tells her to go ahead, he has bigger fish to fry.
Victoria tells JT about getting fired and about Brad. He tells her that Adam is in way over his head and will self-destruct.
Oops, Jill gets nowhere with her threats to Jack over the magazine article. Nick and Jack have an exchange of nasty words. Nick says he's had it with Jack and it's about time he did something about it. (Lots of blustering today.)
Kay gives it to Jill for letting Chow stay on as CEO knowing about his gambling (that article sure has caused all kinds of grief!!), then says she will be watching her at Jabot even more carefully now than ever. She just doesn't trust her any more. Jill's obviously really upset.
Cane brings Chloe some breakfast he made for them, makes some conversation with her about babies and how kids like it when their parents treat each other well. They can try.
Adam tells Heather to pack her bags, she's moving to the ranch with him. (Oh yikes!! I hope he doesn't take Heather down with him, because this kid's digging himself a huge hole.) Kisses. Another good scene!!
Nick confronts Jack about hacking into his computer, Jack yells at him to GROW UP!! Ugly, ugly. The women look on horrified. Jack says to Sharon that we all know where HER loyalties lie. Phyllis says "yep, we sure do". (Sharon was supportive of Nick.)
Nikki's at the Mexican bar, ignoring her ringing phone. Bartender accepts more money from Nikki for lying about her not being there. He tries to get her to go home, but no, she will not leave until it's proven to her that Victor is dead.
Next:
JT, Nick, Phyllis and Victoria at the ranch. V asks what Heather is doing there. Nick tells her Adam had her move in. V - "so Heather is now officially the woman of the house".
Sharon tells Jack not to provoke Nick. Jack "so you're taking his side again".
Adam sits with his arms crossed as Michael reads him Victor's will.
