Okay, so there's this relatively new character for me, Annie, married to Ryan and expecting his baby, right? But she's in cahoots with Adam to spoil Fusion's new perfume, and she has flashbacks to some guy (her brother?) that says she killed him with a lug wrench. Is this the same guy that a bunch of kids think they ran over and killed? And why is Annie scheming with Adam? What's in it for him?
Is Annie a good character or a baddie? Why is she pretending to Ryan that she doesn't have to stay in bed after Dr. Joe told her to?

Annie is nuts, now that Greenlee is back, tptb want Ryan and Greens back together, so out of the way Annie.
I don't know exactly what her plan is, except that she is jealous that Ryan loves Greenlee. She is hiding the fact that she killed her brother. But he deserved it. (in a soap way)
I can't believe they allowed the new girl to close up fusion today, alone.

First off VI is indeed coming back. And the guy that Annie flashed back to killing is played by the guy who is going to be Billy on our show. And he is the same guy that the kids all think they ran over. Theory is she hit him, he fell into the street where these guys ran him over.
She is in cahoots with Adam because she wants to ruin Greenlee and I think Kendall. And I guess its in Adam's best interest because he is pretending to be working with JR to take over Fusion but is in fact working against JR to take Fusion. If he doesn't let Annie in on it then she will tell all.
And I like Petey too, kind of am amused by the romance between the children of 2 rivals. Its old but still amuisng
KaeEll, the jury has been out on Annie for a very long time!
When she first arrived in Pine Valley, she had her little girl (Emma), and was on the run from an abusive husband. It was a fairly convoluted storyline, but at first we all thought that Emma was the missing Kate (who belongs to Tad and Dixie). Ryan helped protect Annie and Emma from the abuser, and that all finally resolved itself.
HOWEVER, in the meantime, it looked for a little while as though Annie wasn't Emma's mother because their DNA didn't match. It turned out that Annie is a chimera, but she almost lost Emma to social services. That also resolved itself.
Ultimately, it was proven that Emma is Ryan's biological daughter through sperm donation. This came as quite a surprise to both Annie and Ryan!
Over time, Ryan and Annie fell in love, and married. It all looked good, but then Ryan lost his memory, and couldn't remember the last four years of his life, and this chunk of lost time included his wife Annie, and little Emma too.
In the middle of all of this, Annie's evil brother Richie appeared. He's wacko, and he's also now dead. There was a period of time when we were all placing bets on WHICH sibling was actually the crazy one, and it's possible that both are. Currently, Annie has gone a bit over the edge, and it appears (by all superficial soap opera evidence) that Annie killed Richie.
But, she DOES currently have "issues", and it's primarily jealousy over Ryan's past love for Greenlee and Kendall.

Moore you summed it up pretty well. I really liked Annie in the beginning and was one of the people who wishes they would have paired her with Jonathon instead of Ryan.

Petey reminds me a little of Ugly Betty's boyfriend, Henry - nerdy but still awfully cute. I like it when they introduce a character who's brainy AND cunning, lol. This could be fun.
I'm hoping they go the route with Petey and Colby will fall in love with him as the nerd. (kind of like A Walk To Remember in reverse) But it appears he's going down the evil path if he's going to help Adam poison the Fusion perfume.
Waste of a good s/l if you ask me!
I'd love to see Cliff and Nina in town, since all the soaps are bringing in the old vets. and how about Brooke returns as well as Liza (at least to visit Colby!)
