Our youngest is on his way to the Kawartha Lakes, east and north of here about 21/2 hours. Fifteen kids have rented 2 large houseboats for a weekend of tons of fun. If you've never had a houseboat holiday, I highly recommend one!! They are SO much fun!! Nick surprised me a little while ago as he let himself in the front door for A) a sandwich and B) bug spray, lounge chairs, flashlights and batteries, a couple of guitars, bedding, pillows, towels, and a deck or two of cards.
