Wednesday - cool but sunny

Midweek again! I'm sick doggie-sitting, cancelled everything else for the time being. Autumn's nip is in full swing here. My fave soap is on in half an hour, laundry piled up downstairs, a few calls to make. And tomorrow is that anniversary of 2001's disaster. Hard to believe it's been 7 years.

What's up today?

It is hard to believe its been 7 years, and its hard to believe that this week is almost over. YAH...And YAH for our favorite soap coming on. I am so amused that I got my ABC soap mother addicted to it. She actually favors it now to all 3 of ABC. It helps with her because her mother watched it forever, even in those last few days before my grandma died I would be able to sit with her and watch the show. So now I can talk Y&R with her. She missed not only last Thursdays show but also Monday. She caught yesterday which for me was a good one too. These days there isn't a day that i want to miss.

I am glad you posted this Kae, I was beginning to think the board was all me today.

I'm too tired to write much.

Just before bedtime last night, Jim went down to his basement office, only to find water all over the basement floor. It was from our brand new, very expensive furnace! So, at 11:30 pm, I was on the phone with a very rude person at the heating company who decided that sarcasm was the way to handle my call, at that late hour!

We were up until 1:00 a.m., after the heating technician left, and poor Jim had to be AT the office this morning by 7:30 a.m...

I had no sleep, woke up with an upset stomach, and ended up postponing a previously scheduled engagement until tomorrow. Two mugs of coffee, and I'm still bleary-eyed. I need to be alert for my phone call to the heating company this morning, telling them that I don't appreciate the nasty treatment I got last night!

So sorry to hear about your nasty experience last night, Moore. Isn't it always the way - emergencies happen off hours, and the companies hire the crankiest people on earth to "help" in the middle of the night when you need as much kindness and assistance as possible!! Keep us posted on how it all turns out.

The vet adjusted little Champ's meds, so I'm hoping and praying he will be far more comfortable today. Yesterday was a nightmare. He's sleeping now.

Poor little Champ. I hope the readjusted meds keep him more comfortable. Poor little guy...
