YAH Its Friday

Haha, so me and Kae discovered earlier this week that we can toy with our country location, so all three of us has been visiting different countries. I have been to the Cayman Islands *spending all of Jeffery's money*, Spain, and a few other places. Both Moore and Kae have also done some traveling. Apparently I am easily amused.

So anyways, YAH its finally Friday. I have noticed that since I have been working I now look forward to Fridays way more then I ever did. And boy is this place dead. I don't know where everyone is but they are all out somewhere.

Kae I picked up the new SOD and its got some Y&R on the cover, will let you know what it says.

Haha, Shelly! You've outed our globe-trotting. Yes, Friday again, and the usual duties for me. We were up until 3 last night with little doggie who rallied at the last minute after his morphine derivative drug wore off and he returned to a somewhat more normal state. As it turns out, much of his discomfort was a result of the "happy pills" and Ted has to take him in AGAIN to the vet for yet another tweak of meds. The menfolk here vetoed my instincts and he's here with me now instead of in puppy heaven. I give up. I'm spent, exhausted, worn to the bone.

I'll run my Y&R recording in between backs and forths today - looking forward to that. It's much too hot in India, so I'll be moving again to a more temperate climate. I've always wondered how I'd like Iceland.

I hope this doesn't make me sound mean, but I hope that your puppy sitting doesn't last too long. I hate to think what its doing to you to just sit and watch your dog die.

I hope everyone else pops in, the last couple days it seems that besides for the spoilers it has just been us ladies

Does that mean you'll be staying on there for a while longer? That's good, non?

No, Shelly, that didn't sound mean at all. It's exactly how I feel about it too.

KaeEll, I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this stress. I have the feeling, though, that your guys are going to come around, once they realize that your sweet puppy is fighting a losing battle. They won't want to see him go through this on a daily basis for too long. Part of having brought him home from the vet a few days ago is the journey towards resolution, and acceptance of the situation, and an opportunity to say goodbye... They'll begin to realize this too.

I'm going nuts trying to get ready for a two-day class this weekend, way up in Maryland, and I promised to go to my nephew's son's football game tonight! I have to leave the house no later than 7:00 a.m., tomorrow, and obviously didn't take that into consideration when making the commitment...

Jim is home today (which also tends to interfere a bit with my pace), and is dealing with insurance companies over that fender-bender from last night. He's still pretty bummed out about his injured car (his pride and joy), but he wasn't hurt. I was worried about his neck because he just had that surgery a year ago, but he's fine.

Gotta go stuff body parts. My oldest daughter called in the middle of my posting this, so I just lost another half hour towards getting my homework done!

Kae! I'm so sorry for all of the stuff you're going through!!!!

Ok this is just a drive by posting as I'm super busy for a bit here. Yesterday was a whirlwind. I got off work at 5am headed home and got to sleep maybe about 6ish, and was up again at 8 to take hubby to work and get our tires changed. 120.00 for a full set of tires, I'd have to be utterly moronic to miss out on that. When I got homei really hoped for a nap .. not so much. After realizing that my lovely little ones weren't going down I decided to just go to the store. While there I grabbed a potty ring for Aiden. Bethany spent some of her money from the pageant on a rock star shirt for the puppy and a maching jacket that she could wear. OMG it's too cute! Anywho, we got home and Bethany volunteered to demonstrate how the potty works for Aiden. Well, she was a great teacher because he's used the potty 4 times .. wait no 5 actually. Anywho, only time he hasn't used it is when we let him run about nekkid and he decided to almost literally water our little indoor plant thingy, and at night but still omg that's great! So he gets a very special gift today!!!!

THursday, my hubby bought me a gorgeous dress at David's Bridal for me to wear to work for "Hollywood Day". I felt like such a princess, he has good taste. If I had been smart and took my camera I'd have pics but I think one of the girls at work has them so you might just get lucky lol. The dress was a bit big, and of course long but it looked cool cuz you'd think I had a train, and it was a beatiful clover green. OMG my hubby has a queer eye!

Anyway Friday night when I got to work there was a gift basket on my desk. I guess I won a prize. THey also gave every employee 10.00 movie money. Isn't that the nicest? Employee appreciation was pretty cool week, even though I missed a lot of the fun. Overnights kinda miss the fun cuz it usually goes on during the day shift. So I was a bit bitter over missing karaoke but hey oh well my check is a lot better than those day time people lol.

So this morning my new friend Anne took me out to breakfast .. yeah it's awesome I have made friends here already and she's not all rednecky so major points! OH my shirt's done drying so I gotta run. I'm going to a fashion show in about an hour so yay and stuff and luvs and kisses.

TTFN dolls :)

Wow, been away for a bit and lots has happened.

Kae, I just posted in your Champers memorial thread. I'm so sorry again.

Jess, I didn't know you working the graveyard shift. Do you like it? And so glad you are making friends!

Moore, I'm glad your hubby is ok! Fender benders are still very scary. I know firsthand in my work how even the smallest of accidents really shakes folks up. I hope the insurance companies don't give Jim too much trouble, and gets his car fixed asap! And good luck on your class this weekend!

What's this globetrotting bit you all are speaking of? I need a little adventure in my boring life.
The most exciting thing I did this week was to spend $650 to get my car serviced and rear brakes completely redone. I still have to find $175 to shell out for a transmission flush. Ergh.

Jojo I love the graveyard shift actually. I'm a night person as it is. So it works nicely. We're usually fairly dead at night too :)
