Nick and Phyllis aren't getting along as they verbally spar over Sharon and that article she put in RS. Sharon catches Jack making a mysterious phone call. He appeals to her to join him getting their marriage back on track. Sad Jack, moderately pissed off Sharon.
Bad rain storm. Jana's ticked with Kevin over the Kay's car thing. Enter Daniel, all soaking wet. And now Amber - all are at CL. Seems she hurt her ankle. Lights flicker.
Billy drops in to speak to Chloe. Cane's not home. He comes right out and asks her if the baby is his.
Lily stopped by Jabot for her final pay cheque, meets Cane in the elevator, power goes out. They are stuck.
Chloe tells Billy the baby isn't his, wrong dates. Flashback to a NYC scene when they first met. She asks him what he'd do if the baby were his, step up like his brother Cane?
Tense conversation between Lily and Cane over his choice of Colleen for the Jabot model. She really lets him have it.
Phyllis keeps it up with her slamming of Sharon, Nick counters with her being Noah's mother. Ugh. Then over to Jack and Sharon as he makes every effort to fix things between them, she resists a little, says she loves him, but why is it so hard for them to just love each other.
Billy and Chloe reminisce about their relationship in NYC. He talks about how she went ballistic on him after she broke into his IP and read all his messages, became a stalker almost. Billy suggests that she's been trying to bag a Chancellor all this time. Good and telling scene!!
Cane and Lily still stuck in the elevator. They compare themselves to Hepburn and Tracy, Pat and Mike, how he was married to someone else but everyone knew they were soul mates.
Nick and Phyllis make love, both admit they're still mad at each other.
Jack and Sharon talk sadly about their marriage. He feels like she's slipping away. Aaaaw.
Back at CL, raging storm outside, no power there either. Daniel, Kevin, Amber and Jana. Cute scene.
Chloe maintains to Billy that he is NOT the father. Another flashback to NYC street scene covering their meeting and first get together. Hmmm - he knows she's working him now. Did she tell Cane about the two of them before? She keeps up the Cane as father, and if she doesn't believe her, call her doctor.
Cane and Lily fool around in the elevator, easy laughter until she mentions Chloe and the baby and how it is changing him, he's moved on, he's with Chloe now, and she's a little jealous that he's happy. No!! He's not happy, he wants to be with her.
Nick and Phyllis again, in bed. More talk about Sharon and their history but they end up kissing again, sort of okay between them. But there's that elephant in the room....
Jack and Sharon dance to old music, kiss, kiss. Sad!! (They are trying SO hard!!) Still no power as the storm continues. (Jack found an old battery operated phonograph in the attic.)
Jana and her tarot cards amuses Daniel, Kevin and Amber. Kevin's magician card says he's playing with fire. Daniel is looking for a new experience but perfection is right in front of you. Kevin tells her to stop playing matchmaker, lol. Amber's card says she is hiding a secret, a complicated one, that the lie she lives with could ultimately destroy many lives. (The last sentence Jana reads about Amber's card is a voice over of Billy putting on his coat. Does Amber's card really mean the secrets and lies are Chloe's? I think so.)
Billy gets ready to leave Chloe's and he agrees to keep quiet about all of this. Ugh, he tells Chloe that shacking up with Amber after only two dates is "convenient".
Daniel notices that the storm is letting up and leaves with Amber right behind him. Kevin hedges with Jana over the Kay's car thing. She's concerned that his path (colluding with Gloria to gaslight Katherine) must change, that kindness must come from within him. He fluffs it off, says he's good. Little scene, but a good one.
Jack and Sharon in bed, curl up but both have sadness on their faces.
AHA!! Chloe admits to herself (with the help of a flashback) that she DID plan to meet the baby's father, she just hadn't planned on falling for him. The baby father IS Billy and Chloe had it planned all along!!
Billy listens in over the intercom to Cane and Lily talking about her online identity on the dating service. Cane and Lily kiss, elevator doors open, Billy sees them. Lily pulls herself away and runs off. Billy watches it all with interest. He obviously has quite the thing for Lily.

Nikki asks Adam why on earth she would help him. Adam replies, "Because of what happened down in Mexico".
Nikki accuses Brad of having blood on his hands (over the Chow and gambling, dead people stuff).
It was really good! It was a unique way of filling in the blanks for us, and I liked it! You were right, Shelly. Chloe had this planned right from the very beginning, meeting Billy, the whole thing! She knew exactly what she was doing all along.
Yeah, I was reading at SOC and I think the reason she targeted Billy was because she didn't yet know about Cane. Otherwise she probably would have went there first. But then she had probably heard from her mother about Billy being the black sheep and she thought he would be easier to snag.
