Cane runs through his long term plans for Jabot, impresses Kay but not Jill. In comes Billy, mocks Cane a bit. Kay warns Jill that she needs to back off looking over Cane's shoulder, second guessing everything he does in the company.
Jack overhears Gloria and Jeff arguing over the phone about his threat to sell his Jabot stocks and thwart her plans to overtake Jabot. Jack smirks, says "You got dumped".
Adam lies to Paul about what he was doing at that seedy motel. Paul doesn't believe him, asks a bunch of questions, and Adam continues making up a cover story.
On speaker phone with Nikki and Mike listening, Victor tells Heather to bloody well back off. In walk Nick and Victoria. Victor goes onto say he committed no crime, he has removed himself from his family, and if Heather utters one word over the phone, he will hang up. So of course she says something and he disconnects, lol.
Jack grills Gloria about her "spat" with Jeffery and how it will affect his plans for Jabot. Jack is impatient to move forward and calls Gloria on her bluff about having enough stocks. Good scene. He gives her until the end of the day to come up with those stocks or their deal is OFF.
Cane and Billy share a sushi lunch. Billy brings up Lily, makes Cane uncomfortable, but he tells Billy about how he got Chloe pregnant (stupid guy, lol).
Kevin with Kay discuss her parking problem at CL. Poor Kay feels awful about her mind playing tricks on her. Gloria turns up, asks him how he's doing with Kay. Gah. Evil Gloria.
YAY!! Nikki destroys the data card out of Michael's phone right in front of Heather and a cop. Heather's back on her high horse where Victor is concerned, accuses all of them there of aiding and abetting a murderer, stomps off in a snit.
Jack, through a clever round-about conversation with Jill, learns that Kay and Gloria certainly are NOT the close buddies Gloria had been telling him they were.
Gloria bursts into Kay's office in response to the "urgent" message that Kay had left for her. Kay left no such message, but Gloria insists that she did. (Gah! I'm hating Gloria again.)
Back to the sushi lunch and the brothers chatting and catching up. Cane wonders how Billy can be so cool about his CEO position at Jabot, then asks him to be his VP of marketing. Bily agrees, shakes hands
Nikki, Michael, Nick and Victoria discuss Heather's motives for persecuting Victor. OH! The French chateau Victor bought burned to the ground. Arson is suspected. Nick says the police are going to aim straight for France. Nikki points out that since Michael is no longer Victor's attorney, he can tell them everything he knows. Mike declines at first but then says yeah, Victor's in France.
Kevin helps Gloria AGAIN in the gaslight routine with Kay. Ugh. Kay is adamant that she did NOT give Gloria the Jabot stock, She did NOT!!
LOL!! YAY for Kevin as he tells Cane that Billy is a jackass and the last thing Cane should do is trust him. Cane's eyes narrow in a hmmm.
Adam greets Heather and lies to her about the motel, same lies he told Paul. She tells him about the Victor phone call, calls Victor an egomaniac of the highest order. He encourages her to pursue her case against Victor, and gently pumps her for info. (Poor Adam!! The guy is getting screwed by Jack and now he's using Heather as well. It's all going to blow up for Adam, my best guess. I like him when he's down and out, scruffy looking too.)
ARGH!! Gloria is back at it with Kay, trying to convince her that she's nuts. Kay becomes furious, exasperated. OH NO!! Gloria gets the stocks. Evil, evil Gloria, and poor Kay.
As Jill talks to Jack about how ludicrous it is that Gloria and Kay are buddies, says Kay would have to be out of her mind...she dashes off with a horrified "dammit". Jack's amused.
Paul tells Heather that his instincts tell him that Adam is up to something but Heather dismisses it as tripe and basically tells him to bugger off.
Billy with Jack - kid's furious about the sales job Cane offered him, calls Cane a donkey. Jack warns him not to get cocky and promises Billy that he'll see to it that he gets everything he deserves down the road.
Gloria and Kay again. Glo gets Kay to sign the document handing over the 5% of stocks. (Evil woman. I really hope she gets nailed, and soon.)
Nick will go to Buenos Aires to mislead the police. Interesting scene with Nikki and Michael as she says she believes Victor is lying and he is destroying himself. Mike doesn't believe Victor murdered anyone, though. Victor tosses the cell phone he was using in a trash bin.

Michael asks River and Gloria what the heck it is that they're trying to hide.
Yes it is!! The preview of her with River and Michael must be the lead-in to Gloria being there at the bombing 40 years earlier. As soon as they appeared on the screen, I felt so let down, as in ugh, not that again. This story is a big mistake, IMO.
Gloria had always been sort of fun, but the horrible thing she did to Katherine completely ruined her for me. It was unbelievably heartless and cruel. Yeah, it's soap staple but it still makes me sick, especially when it's an older character that could SO EASILY really be suffering dementia. I honestly hope she gets it but good, finally. Oh, and Kevin's not much better than his mother for helping her so much. It was Kevin's handiwork that clinched it for Gloria - he faked a phone message for Gloria to play back to Kay and he also organised the stock transfer documents.
