Jana's onto Kevin's moving Kay's car and his part in Gloria's gaslighting schemes and she is not pleased with any of it.
Jill stops Kay in the middle of her signature on the stock transfer papers, grabs the pen, asks "what the hell is going on?".
Michael with River in prison presents evidence he should go through for his defense. Lowell/River refuses to identify a woman in an old photo - probably Gloria.
LOL! Amber enters the RS office and she and Daniel kiss hello. Phyllis gapes and gasps. Nick stops his wife from going over to them. Nick makes a ton of sense, but not quite enough to stop her from blithering off to the two lovers, and a funny moment as Amber presents Phyllis with the key to her penthouse - she's officially out of there and is moving in with Daniel.
Mikey recognises Gloria in the old photo.
Jill rips up the stock transfer contract in Gloria's face. YAY!!!
Daniel and Amber invite Jana and Kevin over for dinner. Jana's still very upset about Kevin's activities with his mother, but at least some things are right with the world (Daniel and Amber together again).
Ugh, Phyllis is back at it, trying to interfere with Daniel and Amber, but nope, no dice, and the two kids scoot off. Nick sighs, tells her she needs to get used to the two of them being together.
Mikey continues with his interrogation of his father over the photograph, more questions about Gloria's presence and why isn't her name in any of the police reports. Lowell says it's the way he wanted it then and the way he wants it now.
Lowell continues to protect Gloria as Mike pushes him to talk more about her possible involvement in the rally. Meanwhile, Gloria begs Kevin to help her piece together the ripped up contract but he cuts her off, hangs up.
Jill confronts Gloria about conning her mother and turfs her out of the building. Jill tells Kay it's time to take her to a dementia specialist (after Jill saved the day, stopped Kay from giving away controlling stocks in the company).
Kevin, Jana, Amber and Daniel over wine and chatter at Daniel's studio. Kevin's part in the conversation lets it slip that he's far more materialistic than Jana approves of while Daniel and Amber are just happy to be away from Phyllis' ever-looming presence by moving out of her luxury building and into Daniel's humble flat.
SORAS'ed Summer!! She looks about 4 now, cute little girl with long curls. Nick talks about how good they have it, how she (Phyllis) should be grateful for all of it (in other words, stop meddling in Daniel's life, stop the nasty everything she's been up to).
Gloria arrives at the prison at Mike's bidding and he shows her that old photo. Gah - boring crap but CLB is doing his best. He knows Gloria and his father are hiding something about the rally.
Aw, Jill convinces Kay to go see the specialist, then takes away her car keys. Good scene. (Damn that bitch Gloria!! Damn her!!)
Over drinks at the studio, Amber starts to piece together that Mrs. C would NEVER have parked her car 2 blocks away from the coffee house. Just then, Kevin gets a call that forces him back to CL and Jana says she'll go too. She and Kevin have a tense exchange in the corridor outside the studio. (Trouble for those two, for sure!!)
Ugh. Even though Lowell objects, Gloria agrees to talk about that day 40 years ago. Flashback to the planning of the rally and the confetti bomb in protest of the Viet Nam war. She tells Mike that he, as a little 4 year old child, was important in what happened next. (This had better be good because I couldn't care less about this ridiculous story line. Just ugh.) Oh, never mind, lol. Watch it if you want to, lol.
Nick and Phyllis, cute, the usual kissing etc.
Daniel and Amber cozy up on his bed, funny moment, then kiss, kiss again.
Kevin finally admits to Jana that he moved Kay's car and although it sounded like a good idea at the time (to help his mother) now he feels really crappy about it, and about lying to her about it too. She says "welcome back, husband", forgives him and kiss, kiss.
Instead of waiting for Jill to drive her home, Kay calls for a taxi. Next we see a woman, looking exactly like Kay, and it could very well be her, sitting alone in a bar drinking whiskey, and ordering another, "make this next one a double".
Next: In a flashback scene, young Lowell and young Gloria. She asks him to come home with her, he says no, he has to try to talk him out of this.
Gloria, in present time, does this yicky screaming, emotional blubber to Lowell, "Why weren't we worthy of your every effort?' Yick.
Billy to Chloe - tell him everything there is to know about Cane and Lily, that way they can both get what they want.
Thought I ought to add that the woman seen drinking alone in the bar, the dead ringer for Kay, did NOT have on the same outfit that Katherine was wearing in her last scene with Jill at the CE offices. Kay had on a royal blue jacket with shiny black beads and the woman in the bar was wearing a tailored back and white suit jacket. Marge, huh?
