I'm creating a separate thread because of jojo's post in another one.
Brandon, we had no idea that your wife was in an car accident, and hope that she's recovering swiftly. Please tell her that all of your cyber buddies wish her the very best, and hope that she's already feeling better.
Please let us know how she's doing, and you take care of yourself too. I know that it's exhausting to try to help a loved one recover from an illness or injury while also picking up the slack in all other areas.
Hugs to both of you!

Hugs and tons of best thoughts for Patricia, Brandon, and for you too. Here's to a speedy recovery for your lovely bride, and hopes that this will be behind you both very, very soon. I'm so sorry that this happened.
She's doing fine, a little banged up, but nothing too bad so far. She's visiting a chiropractor regularly so we're making sure she's fine. Now we just have to go obtain our wonderful lawyer to make sure the moron's insurance pays for all the medical bills and the damage to the car. Car's drivable but a lot of side damage, passenger's door won't open.
Basically what happened was Patricia was driving straight and the lady thought she had a green arrow instead of just a green light and turned in front of Patricia. So yeah. The lady was completely at fault and her statement on the police report was "a car came out of nowhere".... yeah. Anyways, she got cited, she's at fault. Her insurance is going to pay, one way or another :)
We're getting the car damaged appraised by a local group we trust because frankly, I trust the insurance "repair shops" as far as I could throw them. And then we'll be contacting the lawyer our friends have recommended.

That is so good to hear. Keep us posted on the insurance mess. So odd that both you and Moore in recent weeks have had these kinds of issues. Glad that the cop was smart who cited her.
Oh, Brandon. I'm so sorry that you and Patricia are going through this. On top of a banged-up car, and injuries, this kind of nonsense with drivers who won't take responsibility for their negligence is very stressful just by itself. Then, there's also the aggravation of having to be without a car for the period of time when it's being repaired. Jim and I just went through this too, but without the level of damage and injuries that Patricia sustained.
I'm glad that the woman was cited, so you have that on your side here!
The most important thing is to get Patricia feeling well again, and totally pain free.
