Nick's impression of Jasper, Alberta

Nick decided to leave Edmonton and make the drive west to Jasper. He likes it there, lol.

Ted arrived home, finally, last night around 7 after taking the red eye from Edmonton to Ottawa, meetings all day, then home.

That was amusing. Sounds like you need to visit Jasper. It looked really cold where he was

LOL...!!! I'm so SORRY that Nick doesn't like Jasper, Alberta. LOL...............

Yay that Ted's back home now. I'm sure that perks up your spirits a bit!

Can't write much more. I have to go PACK MY BAGS, and head off to JASPER, ALBERTA! I was afraid that Nick was going to come right through that camera and grab me.

Thanks for video. It cracked me up.

Years ago on a trip that Ted and I made out west, we stopped for a while in Jasper. I'd tell my sons about it when they were little and amused them to no end. Here's the story:

Ted and I had lunch one day in a little log cabin restaurant off the main highway in Jasper National Park. After lunch we stood outside admiring the ice fields and along came a malamute ( I thought). Ted had his camera in hand. I bent over and talked baby-poochie talk to the "malamute" and it came right over to me, put his head down and I gave it a lovey-up ear scratch. Ted caught it on camera. The four legged friend stayed right beside me for quite a while when out came one of the cooks for a smoke. He waved his arms and hollered, scaring away my new friend. The cook told us we were lucky that WOLF didn't sample us for his appetiser.

We have a slide of that moment somewhere in the house. If I can find it, I'll post it here. I think we have a scanner somewhere...

Thats entertaining. My brother had a wolf for a pet, the dog was actually about 95% wolf, for years. They are truly beautiful animals

Kae, you can tell Nick I definitely plan on visiting Jasper! I plan on making a trip next year to see my friend in Red Deer, Alberta, and she's promised to take me to Jasper, which is about 5 hours from her. Can't wait now!
