Adam's all gleeful that he has Jack's voice on tape, but as he tries to listen to it, it's all been erased. Not happy 'bout that!! Dammit!! And off he runs past Heather and her boss in CL. Heather wonders about the Newman's, speculates that Phyllis is the weak link and might talk. Nick's on a plane, calls Phyllis. A Mexican agent makes himself known to Nick - he's on the same commercial flight, says he'll see Nick when they land in Argentina.
Gloria calls Kevin, tells him Jeff still has that face cream. Enter Jeff with important news.
Tense moment between Jack and Sharon - she's not pleased that he's always running off dealing with mysterious irons in the fire. She's on her way to Nick's with a paper they missed signing for Noah's Paris trip. A kiss. He crosses his heart on "no secrets".
Frantic Adam goes to Frank's over the erased tape. Frank pieces together that Crystal, girl from the bar, stole his key. Jack did this!!
Gloria and Jeff go at it trading insults. His news is about Katherine drinking again - she's not senile, she's hitting the bottle. She swears she loves him and only him, but he's dead serious that their marriage is merely a business arrangement, taking over Jabot, period.
Heather drops in on Phyllis to harass her. Heather tells Phyllis that when Nick left the house, he went to see Sharon Abbott for a VERY long goodbye.
Back at CL, Gloria enters, Katherine is still there. Gloria swoops in, still after those 5% of her stocks. Gah.
As Heather persists in trying to rile Phyllis over Nick spending time with Sharon, Sharon arrives at the door to see Nick. Heather gloats. Good one for Phyllis!! She and Sharon handle things well as Sharon hands over the form for Nick to sign when he gets back, but Heather doesn't stop.
Kevin slips Gloria the new papers he pieced together from the ones that Jill ripped up. Gloria tries to dupe Kay and she won't bite!!
Adam at Jack's door, confronts him about that tape he erased and getting him to do all the dirty work. Jack denies all partnership with Adam, says they never had any business arrangement. Jack denies all of it!! Adam grabs his lapels, calls him a son of a bitch. Whoa!!! In comes Sharon and hears Adam threaten Jack "if this deal goes south, I'm taking you down with me". She demands an explanation, and as Jack tries to calm her down, in bolts Jeffery demanding to talk about Jabot stocks and Katherine's drinking. Sharon is more angry than ever, and says Jack CAN'T be trusted, just as Adam said.
Little Summer comes down the stairs complaining to her mommy that bugs bit her. Heather twigs that the child said "bugs" and concludes that the Newman's did indeed know they were being listened to.
Back to Nick and the Mexican agent as the plane is about to Land in Buenos Aires. Nick manages to palm the agent's handcuffs when they shake on a $200 bet that Nick can lose him 5 minutes after they deplane.
As soon as the plane lands, Nick cuffs the agent to his seat and takes off, lol. Good one for Nick!!
Kay tells Gloria that she knows all she is after is her stock. Gah! Gloria works on Katherine, evil witch that she is.
Sharon lets Jack have it!! Jack says he was only trying to protect her by not keeping her in the loop about what he's been up to. Jack blows it big time with Sharon by swearing to tell her the whole unvarnished truth but instead feeds her a pack of whitewashed half truths and she sees right through it, says she trusts her instincts more than his lies. Uh oh.
Jeff greets Kevin at CL, asks if Kay has signed over her stocks yet. Nope, they are still talking. And over to Kay and Gloria - Kay is breaking down a little with Gloria, says maybe John was right about her after all. Kay takes a phone call, Jeff congratulates Gloria for making the mouse come to the cheese (in not being to aggressive with Kay about the stocks).
Adam listens to his tape of Jack denying their partnership. He looks really defeated.
Phyllis calls Nick after thinking about what Heather said that her husband cheated on her with his ex. She tells him that Heather knows that they know about the bugs. "No big deal, they don't know where dad is." They exchange ILY's but Phyllis is still bothered.
Jack makes some headway with Sharon, but she pulls her hand away from his and says she's tired of doing all the heavy lifting in their marriage. She's not sure she wants their marriage at all any more. Really, really good scene!!

Sharon greets Brad in CL with a big hug and smiles. Phyllis looks on, shakes her head as in WTH.
I'm kind of on the fence. I love Jack but this scheme he has going with the diary and now denying all association with Adam is just so wicked of him. It's very clever of him, I'll definitely give him that. But do I feel sorry for Adam? Not quite. I am sorry that he's getting set up to take all of the heat if this goes sour, but my loyalties are still with Jack, although I appreciate that he's doing some really horrible stuff here.
Something that I've been meaning to mention about Heather - remember that her doctor told her that her virus was transmitted through body fluids? Well, she and Adam are still lovers and kissing, etc. She KNOWS she shouldn't be doing that. Will Adam come down with that virus now too? There has to have been a point in giving her the mono-like disease.
Hmm, I wonder if the stuff with Heather is a dropped storyline. And I agree with you, I do side with Jack for the most part. But the kid playing Adam is going a good job of making me feel for him.
