Number 2 will be Psycho, I think. I have no idea what the number 1 scary movie will be.

I agree with KaeEll about Psycho, and I also have no idea about number 1. It seems to involve twins, but that didn't help me.

I'm sorry that Wait Until Dark wasn't on the list. I pretty much held my breath all the way through that movie, but I guess it may not quite fall into the category of "horror". More just suspense...

When a Stranger Calls scared the living daylights out of me, and my youngest nephew still can't even TALK about that movie! There was a remake a few years ago, but I doubt that it can match the original.

Was The Shining on the list? That was a good one for scariness.

I'm not a fan of horror stories any more, much prefer suspense movies.

Now that you mention it, KaeEll, I don't think that the Shining was on the list!

And, I'm with you -- I prefer suspense to horror.

Yeah sometimes the suspense are more frightening then horror anyways. I kind of think most horror movies are pretty funny

Well you guys were right about Psycho. I wonder which horror flick had the double thing. Did you guys ever watch Children of the Corn. That was scary

So the number one moment was in fact The Shining. You know the part with the ghost twins in the hallway

Yeah, I actually tend to remember the redrum part more often then the "Here's Johnny" part...I am glad it made number 1, definitely scary

Did Nicholson make any other scary movies? And I wonder what ever happened to the woman that played his wife. I only remember her as Olive Oyl in the Popeye movie with
"Mork". Oy, a senior's moment here, lol.

Uh, after looking on IMDb, it was Shelley Duvall and Robin Williams in Popeye. Duvall was the wife in The Shining, wasn't she?
