So I crawled away from work for a few days. Heading to mom's for her Birthday party and some good ole trick or treating .. kids are all dressed and ready to go acutally. Yesterday Bethany and Aiden donned their scrubs for majority of the day so looks like lucky mom gets to wash them today lol.
Happy Halloween all. We just got back from our night of trick or treating. Jolene had a great time. We went with another family that goes to our church. I will post pictures later.
We actually had fun last night. We got home around 6:30, just before it was really dark out and I scooted next door to the nice neighbours with a big bag of chocolate bars for little Thomas who is 2 1/2. He was dressed as a rabbit. While I was there, Ted climbed up on a step stool and put heavy woolen blankets up on the front door and side light, turned off every single light and went downstairs where he repeated the wool thing on the side window. He also took the pumpkins off the porch. We had one timid knock which we ignored.
Mike came back from WV as usual about 10 and dressed up for a Halloween party , left for that around 11. I wish I'd taken pictures - he looked so funny in long johns, camouflage shorts, a bandanna and Johnny Depp pirate makeup. I have no idea what time he came home, but the car is in the driveway, so he must be here.
Nothing planned today other than the regular Saturday errands. I'm making meatballs and marinara sauce for dinner tomorrow; easy to feed the tribe with pasta.
OMG my memory card was full and I forgot to grab the spare so I didn't get any pics. SO sad!!! Anywho we had a blast! After trick or treating with the kids, took Cody and my brother Alex to the haunted house and a haunted hayride.
