Paris. Ashley and Victor are still kissing. Phyllis is still trying to call Nick and Nick, with Sharon remarks that his phone isn't working properly. He suggests they do a whirlwind tour of Paris in the next couple of hours. (Continuity problems today, but oh well. Lots of pretty Paris scenery.)
Back in GC, Esther worries about Mrs. C, Chloe chimes in that they need to concentrate on her being okay. Jill and Nikki are driving around looking for her, stopping in at all the bars, nothing. Nikki has a really bad feeling about this.
Crash scene by a river. The headlights fade out indicating a dead battery, so it has been a while since the car went off the road.
Cane thanks Chloe for trying to calm down her mother. They make a small connection - some progress.
Amber and Daniel go to the Chancellor house, Chloe answers the door, asks them in. No word on Mrs. C. They are baffled when Chloe tells them that Mrs. C got drunk and went out on a tear.
Noah and Eden sightseeing in Paris exchange fathers getting locked up stories. He tries to encourage her that since his innocent father got out of jail, hers will too.
Ashley leads Victor into her hotel suite, kiss, kiss, removal of clothes.
Victor and Ashley in bed after the fact. He seems more animated now, lol.
Noah and Eden are in a graveyard, at Jim Morrison's tomb. They are surprised that they both love the song The End from The Doors greatest hits album.
Phyllis walking around the streets of Paris eating a pastry. (How can such a skinny girl eat all that goopy stuff? Gah!) Nick and Sharon are back on a sightseeing boat on the Seine, talk about their childhood dreams, share those "looks" of understanding and comfort.
Esther gets a fax about Mrs. C, calls Nikki and Jill to read it to them. It's from the rehab centre asking if Mrs. C would like to keep the reservation as she had not turned up at the appointed hour as they had agreed. Everyone believes Kay had booked herself into the rehab, no mention at all of Marge.
More Paris scenery as Nick and Sharon walk around.
Back to Victor and Ashley in bed. He's very glad she persevered in coming for him, made him feel alive again.
Jill and Nikki speculate about Kay's state of mind in checking herself into rehab, believe she's holed up somewhere drinking herself to death. They find Kay's crashed car. OMG's all around. Cane answers the phone, it's Jill with the news that they think they've found grandma's car.
More pillow talk with Ashley and Victor. (He's definitely come out of that nasty funk.) Oh yick - she's all about how this was as it was supposed to be, all those years of distance between them has faded away now and here she is in his arms. She's so happy that she has given him something to live for. He doesn't care, starts kissing her again, lol. (Now I remember why I never liked Ashley. She's such an idiot when it comes to Victor.)
Noah takes pics of Eden on the tomb. Filler stuff, nothing happening really. Some talk of Cassie, and Cassie's death music plays in the background. They kiss.
Sharon's in tears looking at a carousel, thinking about Cassie. Nick comforts her with a hug.
Three older guys hassle Eden and Noah in the cemetery. One grabs Eden and tears off her necklace - tussle ensues.
Sharon is chilled as she and Nick stand on a bridge looking at the Eiffel Tower. He puts his arms around her, looks at her and they kiss. Phyllis sees it from a short distance and is stunned. She turns away and walks in the opposite direction. She looks numb and horrified at the same time.
Aww, SOD made it sound like the roll in the sack wouldn't weaken Ashley's resolve and that she was a different person then she was the last time she chased after Victor. OTH this is better then him and Sabrina...blech
Jill and Nikki make their way down to the crashed car and see a very dead woman that looks exactly like Katherine. Wails and carry-on as you can imagine.
One of the thugs punches Noah and then all take off. Eden runs after them. Noah then gets dragged off to the police by some guy who mistakenly believes Noah is responsible for the mess made in the cemetery by the thugs.
Sharon pulls away from the kiss, says 'we can't". He agrees but says being with her is like nothing's changed. Yeah, but she will not be the other woman in an affair. She leaves, says she'll see him tomorrow, though.
Poor Phyllis!!! She hurriedly packs her stuff, rips up the note to Nick that she wrote and leaves the hotel. She is absolutely crushed!!
Then back to Ashely and Victor again. She sees him get out of bed, asks him if he's leaving. He mumbles no, but has that blank expression on his face again.
Cane gets a call from Jill...."are you sure?' (Good scene!!) "She's gone", he says. Sobs and hugs.
Wails and OMGs from Jill and Nikki. Another good little scene. BTW, it IS Marge because Kay was wearing a different coat. Marge is dead and all believe it to be Katherine.
Next:
Jack gets a call from Sharon and isn't pleased to hear that Nick is there in Paris too.
Nikki tells Victoria that Katherine is dead.
Ashley shows Victor an article in the newspaper with the headline "Billionaire Admits Murder in Diary" with a photograph of Victor in the story.
I just read at SOC that the kid playing Eden has been fired. They got her an acting coach (duh, lol) but it still didn't work out. Thank goodness.
IMHO. Ashley is still beyond stupid in her expectations of having a life with Victor. He was having a pretty good time rolling around in the sheets with her and it brightened him up temporarily, end of story. She was saying things like " I have given you something to live for" and "this was meant to be all along". Puke. But I do agree that it's better than Victor and Sabrina.
I am kind of sad for the kid who played Eden. I saw her on the show Zoey 101 or whatever and she was pretty cute. But on that show she was on with Britney Spears kid sister. Far from the great actors she is working with on Y&R. The show will be good for her resume though. She just should have started on a lower rated soap...Something like OLTL that isn't as fast.
