Jack calls Sharon, cheerful, says "finally" when he gets through. Nick waits in the students' hotel lobby for Sharon, remembers their kiss. She tells Jack that she can't talk right now, Nick is there. Jack's not thrilled. Sharon tells Nick to just leave things alone (the kiss and all) and Nick says "cool". Tour group leader tells Nick and Sharon that Noah had already left the group last night with another student. Nick and Sharon are FURIOUS and Nick threatens to sue someone's ass.
A grim Nikki comes to Victoria's with the news that Kay is dead.
Tears and hugs at he Chancellor house. Jill and Esther are sobbing messes, Cane comforts his mother.
Billy chats up Lily at CL, asks her if she's waiting for her internet date guy.
Michael is on the phone, says NE has launched a lawsuit against Sophisticate magazine. Mike says he has no idea if Victor really wrote that diary because he is not in contact any longer with that particular client.
Victor and Ashley wake up in the morning, kisses.
Jack furiously throws his phone across the room. His father advises him to be sure to direct his anger at the right person, think about who is really to blame here.
Nick's phone rings (it's working now, he notes). It's the police. Noah's in jail. Nick and Sharon take off to go get him.
Victor and Ashley stroll around Paris. She is absolutely besotted with him. Yeck.
Nikki tells her daughter more about Katherine's drinking, etc. She's devastated by the loss of her friend.
Cane and Chloe, quiet gentle talk about Katherine. They hug each other just as Lily and Billy walk into the room. Lily gapes. Then she is taken aback when Chloe embraces her and thanks her for coming. Billy breaks down in Jill's arms.
John tells Jack that now he's getting a taste of what he put his wife through. Sharon told him she felt shut out of his life, so what did he expect. Jack doesn't want to follow his father's advice and call Sharon with a sincere apology and the whole truth about the diary. He knows he's being a fool, but insists that it's Sharon who has to come around this time.
Nick and Sharon get Noah from the police station, learn that he has been charged with defacing property, but Noah says the charges are false. The gendarme believes Noah and wants to let him go. In rushes Eden, Noah introduces her. N&S recognise her from that party.
Back to Ashley and Victor kissing over coffee and admiring the Paris autumn colours. As she gushes over a cute baby, she notices Victor's sadness creeping back in and she apologises to him. He says it's okay but would she please stay with him.
Jill and Billy, Esther and Chloe. NICE exchange between Chloe and her mother!!!!! (Geez, about time!!) Lily blathers on to Cane that she wishes she could help.
Eden mouths off to Nick that she doesn't have to tell him anything about where she spent the night, her mother is dead and her father's in jail and her legal guardian is a big shot lawyer who could get her out of any trouble anyway; maybe he's heard of him, Michael Baldwin.
Mike's phone rings again - it's Nick, and Lauren answers. Nick tells Mike and Lauren about the arrest and that Eden isn't being co-operative. Mike wants to speak to Eden and Nick hands her the phone. Kid glowers. (Gah, I'll be SO glad to see that kid replaced by a better actress. These were really important scenes and that kid ruined them with her bad acting.) Anyway, Mike says he'd be eternally grateful if Nick would supervise Eden and bring her home.
Mike gives Eden hell for her behaviour, kid cries. Lauren tells Mike to back off and he does, but he says they'll talk more about this when she gets home.
Phyllis is back home now, holds Summer and dismisses the sitter, says she'll pay her for all the days they agreed upon anyway. She recalls seeing that darn bridge kiss.
Billy calls Jack with the news that Kay is dead. Billy's voice cracks and Jack is terribly saddened. John says this is why we must cherish the ones that we love and why he must show Sharon how much he really loves her.
Nikki blames herself for Kay's death because she was too wrapped up in her own problems to notice the drinking. And the worst part is that she stopped Jill from making a call to get the police out looking for Katherine before the accident happened. Nikki says Sabrina and now Katherine - all that blood is on her hands.
Ashley shows Victor the newspaper article about the diary. He just shakes his head. Ashley doesn't answer his question "will you stay with me in Paris?".
Lots of mourning at the Chancellor's.
Jack calls Sharon with the news of Katherine's death. She solemnly tells Nick and Noah the sad news.
Phyllis's phone rings, it's Jack. Victoria receives a call too. Nikki's sobbing uncontrollably. Oh, it's Nick on the phone. Mike's phone rings, Lauren answers. It's Phyllis with the Katherine news.
Ashley advises Victor that they can't think about having a future with this mess hanging over his head. He needs to go home and clear it up. Victor says he doesn't have to tell them a damn thing and he has no intention of setting foot in GC again.

Phyllis tells Jack that she trusts her husband. Jack says he's not sure she would if she'd seen what he's seen (referring to that hug a while back, is my guess).
Sharon tells Nick that it meant so much to her that he showed her around Paris.
Phyllis is hysterical and she throws a brass coat rack down on the floor of her house and then sweeps all the magazines off the coffee table with her arms. She's screaming and crying at the same time. She is VERY upset.
