Paul gives Nikki her key card for the room upstairs at GCAC. Phyllis gives Nick the news that Brad sold out his dad to the cops. Nick's furious. Meanwhile, Heather arrests Victor for the murder of Walter Palin and insists on taking him immediately rather than allowing Michael to drive him downtown after he has had a chance to sort out a few personal things.
Noah and Eden are curled up together on the Abbot's sofa, kiss. Sharon and Jack arrive at their place and as Sharon enters, Eden is miraculously gone! Jack stays on the front doorstep trying to talk Adam down (over the phone) from a panic over Victor's return.
Nick confronts Adam. Adam sticks by his story about finding the diary, says Victor deserves to be behind bars, Nick slugs him!!
Mikey warns Heather not to question his client without his presence. Before leaving with the cops, Victor tells Ashley that she didn't bargain for this and she might as well go back to London. She responds by kissing him (I guess that means she'll stay in GC.)
Brad and Traci have a little catch-up chat. She asks him what happened with Jabot, why didn't she give him the CEO job? He tells her about the bartender getting the position. She suggests he needs something to be passionate about. What about his love life? Phyllis eavesdrops with interest as he makes oblique comments about blowing things with the woman of his dreams (Sharon, but no mention of her name).
Nick arrives at the ranch, tells JT and Victoria about hitting Adam. JT and V will take their mother's things away from three, and yep, Victor did notice that her stuff was there.
Victor tells Heather that she's wrong again (Ji Min) and he did NOT kill Walter Palin.
Sharon and Noah argue about Eden, that he needs to keep his distance from her. Jack's there now and sides his wife although he does understand Noah's position. She seems appreciative of the support.
Phyllis, at the RS office remembering the bridge kiss. She answers the phone - the Mexican man from yesterdays' preview, asks for Jack Abbot. Whoa!! He tells Phyllis that he was interviewed by Jack for a story on Victor Newman on September 25 and he would like to make something very clear about the interview. Who should he speak to about that now (as Phyllis tells him that Jack is no longer there at RS). Phyllis says she's handling that now. Phyllis also recalls her talk to Sharon about Jack's whereabouts when he was actually in Mexico (according to the Mexican man) and Sharon told her that Jack was in LA with Ashley. (The plot thickens, lol. )
Mexican man tells Phyllis he had NO idea that the boating accident would turn into a murder investigation and he wants no part in the article as he could lose his job. She assures him that his name will not be used at all. Phyllis figures out that Jack must have been complicit with the diary scam an sets about her own internal investigation into his expense vouchers at RS.
Victoria gives her mother the news about Victor's arrest. Nikki speculates to Paul that the diary and Adam's involvement is really fishy. He must have had some help. Not to worry, Paul will look into it.
Nick visits his father in jail. Victor apologises for worrying him the last time they saw one another (in the gallery). Victor notices Nick's swollen hand and concludes that he must have hit Adam, that he hit for HIM.
Heather snarks at Paul for not calling her immediately about Victor's return and his lack of loyalty to her. She's adamant about not losing THIS case against Victor as he almost ruined her career the last time.
Michael overhears Adam booking a flight to London. "Goin' somewhere?" Adam says that since Victor soiled the job market here, he'll get a job there, get settled, buy a flat and send for Heather. Two big goons appear behind Mike, there to take Adam to see Victor.
Phyllis reviews the files of the expense accounts, sees all the Mexico stuff in Jack's records, the seedy motel bills and one for Emperor's Legion. Uh oh, she's putting it together.
Jack advises Noah that he neglected to give his mother any ramp-up time with Eden, that's why Sharon is being so hard on him. Sharon overhears Jack's conversation with the kid, hears him admit he failed to come through for his mother but he loves her more than anything. Really good scene. She tears up as she's standing in the hallway, out of sight.
Yes, they sure are. Adam is in full panic mode and is making all kinds of stupid mistakes, not the least of which is thinking that he can get away with this diary crap.
The furnace repair man is here now - conked motor. I have to pause this and get back to it in a few.

Phyllis leaves for home with Nick - he went to the RS office to pick her up. Phyllis is pleased that Nick's visit with his father went well, that Victor seems to be back to normal. What she doesn't tell Nick yet is that she has got some evidence that Jack is somehow mixed up in the Mexico and diary mess. (I think her tactic here is to work on clearing Victor's name in an effort to strengthen her marriage to Nick. It seems to be a very strong motive for her.)
Sharon thanks Jack for his talk to Noah, thanks him for being such a great step-father. They dance in the living room but she is sad.
Brad daydreams about the time he told Sharon that he loves her so much.
At CL, Eden expresses her worry about what will happen to her if her father is convicted. Mike assures her that she'll be a part of their family no matter how huge a pain in the butt she can be. Mike and Lauren's eyebrows shoot up when Eden says that she got her necklace back, that Noah found it for her.
Ashely acts all high and mighty with Nikki, reminds her that Victor still blames her for Sabrina's death. She couches it in a condescending kindness. (No, do not like Ashley, lol.)
After a rather unpleasant exchange between Adam and Victor, V threatens to crush him like a cockroach, that he is dead to him now, that he (Adam) will never see it coming. V leaves, Adam is shaken. Montage of Adam clearly upset, Nikki an emotional mess, Victor leaving the visiting room and Ashley sipping water, looking extremely smug, and sitting in what looks like an airplane seat.
