All the Winters gather to toast Neil and Karen's big news. Ugh, here come Tyra and Ana, uninvited, and Tyra is visibly unhappy when Karen tells them all that she and Neil are engaged.
Jack, on phone with Ben, says all he needs is Ashley's proxy in order to take back Jabot. Ashley's there now and refuses to give him her proxy until he tells her who his secret partner is. Meanwhile, Gloria is holding up a faux tiger skin suit, asks Jeff is this outfit screams CEO of Jabot, lol. Jeff warns her about over-confidence. Michael comes in, says he's about to get Lowell's charges dropped. Gloria. worried about her public image now, tells him she won't testify at the hearing. Michael's mystified.
Kevin agonises over that safe full of Katherine's cash. Cute Jana moment. Amber and Daniel arrive at CL, tells Kevin about Mrs. C's will. Kevin is OMG. Across the cafe, Chloe and Cane ask Billy to move into the Chancellor house but he declines, says he's had enough of black suits and glum faces, needs to get back to the land of the living. Chloe's disappointed.
Gloria and Jeff march into Jack's living room gloating about Jabot until JAck puts the brakes on saying this will take some time. In comes Ashley. Gloria goes right up to her and calls her "partner". Ashley now gets it that the Bardwells are Jack's partners. She tells Jack "No way in hell".
Lily talks with her family about meeting the internet guy. She is supposed to meet with him at a vintage book store and Devon will tag along for the just-in-case she needs him possibility.
Chloe, Cane and Billy scene, Nothing much. It's setting up Chloe and Cane at the same book store as Lily.
Amber is still on Kevin's case about missing Mrs. C's funeral and that cash. Then she and Daniel overhear Gloria gushing to Kevin about Katherine leaving her the Jabot stock and that now she has everything she has ever wanted. Gloria says it's all because of Kevin's help!!!
Michael meets with Lowell for the hearing. Mike hasn't yet told Lowell that Gloria won't be there to testify on his behalf.
Vintage book store scene with Lily, Devon and his g/f, waiting for her mystery man. Along comes Billy.
Amber suspects that Kevin had something to do with Mrs. C's death; Daniel talks some sense into her. Point here is that Amber feels very strongly that there's something really fishy about the Fishers. (Sorry, lol.)
Well you really can't blame Amber for being suspicious. I think that Kay was her first true friend in Genoa City. And about Lily, I can't recall if anyone has ever brought up to her about her very disastrous introduction to the online dating scene.
Ashley and Jack argue about Gloria and her lack of ethics and morals, that she'll throw any of them under a bus if it suits her, according to Ashley. Jack acknowledges that but he has to be pragmatic here in order to get their family business back. Reference is made to the fact that Jack can't go anywhere near Jabot (the face cream!! - oh, please let that whole mess come out.) Good scene! He begs her, please do not say no!!
Chloe and Cane now at the bookstore too. Devon's g/f buttonholes Billy, frustrates him as he is preparing to meet with Lily.
More Gloria and Jeff gloating about their coup but Kevin isn't enjoying it at all until Gloria tells him she'll be taking care of him with lots and lots of zeros. Kevin gets up, off to buy a new car.
Mike presents his case for Lowell to the lawyer guy (judge) who wants to speak to Gloria before he makes any decision. Happy Lowell until Mike tells him that they can't count on Gloria.
Jeff and Gloria banter about Jabot and how she had better never try to screw him over.
Enter Jana, notices Kevin's naughty smile. Amber tells Jana about Gloria saying Kevin had everything to do with her victory with Mrs. C.
Daniel sees Kevin buying a new car online, confronts him about being "broke". Kevin lies and Daniel buys it, but wonders what Amber's theories.

And no way do I blame Amber for her suspicions. She's got most of it right, just the details wrong. Kevin is letting his vile mother influence him FAR too much. I feel bad for him to some extent because he DOES have a conscience but it's too easily ignored.
Back at the book store, Billy tells Chloe she's pissing him off and he's tempted to tell Cane about their past relationship but she points out that that might very well ruin his chances with Lily. He realises she has a point. Billy sees Lily and Cane all googly-eyed over each other. At first Lily thinks he's (Cane) her mystery man, then realises he's there shopping with there with Chloe. Cane leaves, up saunters Billy. She asks him what HE's doing there and he shrugs, says nothing.
Amber sees Kevin about to hand over a huge wad of cash to some random guy on the patio. Kevin says whoa, not until I see the merchandise and leaves with him.
Ashley agrees, finally, to give Jack her proxy. But only because of the family.
Tyra and those nails of hers (lol) makes small talk with Karen about weddings. Neil and Karen snuggle and coo after Tyra and kid leave. Happy, happy.
Lowell feels that Gloria will come around, Mike's no so sure, looks grim.
Aa Amber gets ready to tell Daniel about what she just saw, in walks Kevin with a new motor cycle for Jana.
AHA! I missed this part earlier. Chloe got Cane to go with her to the vintage book store because she had grabbed Billy's phone earlier and saw the text message on it form Lily. Chloe wanted to see for herself who it was that Billy was going to meet. Cane suspects that's why they were there but she denies it.
As Billy asks Lily if she had another missed date with online man, and she says she that did, he suggests that guy did come but saw her with Cane and didn't introduce himself because it was obvious she was in love with someone else. Lily says "I don't want to love him". They hug, Cane sees it and is somewhat shocked as Lily told him that she was about to meet her online date guy in that very place.
